I am 4 months postpartum and I have been trying to loose the last 5 lb since I got cleared at 6 weeks. I started running again around week 12 and slowly increasing the intensity of my workouts. I am running everyday and lifting around 5 days a week. I also walk to dog for a few miles everyday. But I have been gaining weight and so far I have gained an extra 5-8lb and it’s not stopping. I’m not sure what to do. Thoughts? I’m getting desperate/frustrated since I’m a personal trainer and I feel like I need to be in good shape.

If you're lifting weights you're probably gaining muscle and water weight. Make sure you're staying hydrated! Measure your body using a tape instead and see if you can see the difference more.
I always see high intensity exercise as being for my health and food portions being for my weight.

I gained so much more weight postpartum then I did during my pregnancy. For me it was stress and lack of sleep. Some people gain weight while breastfeeding if that applies to you. I started running and still haven’t lost weight so I’m off to make more firm diet changes

Sounds like your body might be locked in survival mode and holding onto everything that goes in “just in case”. If you are doing all of that + breastfeeding, it might be too much on your body. I would discuss it with your gp.
But also remember muscle is heavier than fat.
Maybe worth looking more into the how do I feel and do I look healthy, am I fit or out of breath, over what the scale is saying (as hard as that is!)
Also remember our bodies change when we have a baby, so you might not be in the exact same shape you were before having a baby.
