Gestational diabetes

I had my 1 hour glucose test this morning and it came back 160 at 26w4d! My doctor hasn’t commented on it yet, but my understanding is that I will have to take the 3 hour test next. I’m so bummed. Anyone that had similar results and passed the 3 hour test?

I would mention something.
I ate a sweet pastry once a week and I didn’t do the carb/protein/ fat at each meal. I think this caused my failing of my 3 hour plus the fact I was stressed and also sweated a lot that night. I also gained a lot of weight in my first trimester. The diet control isn’t bad. And walking after meals helps and we should be doing that anyway. Also I am a puzzle my fasting 6 weeks postpartum was 100 with an A1c of 5.2. The same thing happened this test where I was super thristy the whole night and waking up every 3 hours. Now I okay have to make sure I lose weight. My health plan says I should be back to pre pregnancy weight in 6 months.

Feeling pressured about having an epidural

I have Cystic Fibrosis and I am 27+5. My midwife requested an appointment with the anaesthetic doctor so I’ve been to that today and I feel like she’s forcing me to have the epidural when I really don’t want it. She says it’ll help with my lung capacity so she wants me to have the epidural straight away as soon as I’m in labour. However, my CF team have said I am and my lungs are healthy enough to give birth as a normal woman, so I can have gas and air etc. the anaesthetic doctor didn’t ask me what my lung function was or nothing. I’ve been so healthy the past 6 years so I really don’t think I need the epidural. I’m a bit of a push over so I feel like I will end up having the epidural even though I don’t want it. How do I get around this? It’s upset me and annoyed me at the same time cause she’s made me think I’m not healthy enough to give birth without the epidural

I’m supposed to go this week for my glucose test and everyone says the drinks are horrible. I’m so nervous and I’ve been nauseous the entire pregnancy so far and don’t want to have to redo it or for me to puke. How was it for u guys?

Eating

I'm 26 weeks, and already for a while I've been struggling to eat. I just feel like I'm full after a few mouthfuls. I know to eat little and often but I struggle to even do that! If I already feel like there's no room for any food in there, how am I going to make it to potentially 40 weeks?! I stopped putting on weight a few weeks ago now too. I see other pregnant women further along than me having no issues eating at all. Getting worried 😬

Anybody going through their pregnancy alone?

Just wondering. 15w and due March 12, 2027.

It’s just the beginning and this is one of the hardest things I’ve done!
