I label all my son's clothes but we have still lost so much and wondered if anyone else has experienced the same?
He has only been in nursery for a year and so far we have lost:
-whole matching top and leggings set
-top
-2 hoodies
-pair of shorts
I ask the nursery and they say they look for it and can't find it and I have also rummaged through lost property and it isn't there either. Are other parents being given it by accident and then keeping it? Is this normal for nurseries to lose this much?

Unfortunately this happens a lot, other parents end up with clothes that aren't for their child and don't bother giving them back. I'm an ex childcare worker and things do get looked for as much as possible, but will so many children it's hard to keep track sometimes.
It happens when they go yo school too. My nephew started school a few weeks ago and managed to lose his jumper, when he hadn't even worn it! Last week it turned up and someone else had taken it home but didn't bother to bring it back. It's really annoying when you pay good money dor their clothes and they get lost
