When to start buying baby stuff

I’m high risk so personally I wouldn’t until later because I have high risk of pre term labour. But my sister is pregnant and currently 19 weeks and has already brought a couple of bits and planned what she wants for the bigger pieces like travel systems etc

We didn't buy things with our first until 20 weeks, after the scan. X

I have bought one thing- a little miffy vest I couldn’t resist. I’m still very early so I told myself the baby that’s meant to wear it will wear it xx

I got a travel system at 11 weeks in a local garage sale that was just a bonkers price for everything we got. I felt awkward about it then and still do now, but it won't change the outcome for me buying stuff or not. My mum's got me a couple of bits too. The rest I'll properly start will be way later, probably minimum after my 20 week scan, but if I see something that's a bargain, I might grab it who knows, summer sales are happening so grabbing a little bit or two for next summer might happen, who knows 😅
