Newborn conjunctivitis
I suspect my daughter has conjunctivitis, we have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning but when reading anything on google it mentions chlamydial or Gonococcal which worries me as I’m 100% sure I don’t have either of them.
Has anyone else experienced conjunctivitis in their newborn and it not be related to either of them?

Can be sticky eye
My daughter had one really sticky eye when she was around 1 week old I thought it was conjunctivitis but I cleaned it whenever it got gunky with cotton wool and boiled water cooled down and it cleared up with in a few days xx
My daughter had conjunctivitis when she was 15 days old. If you’re breastfeeding, pop a bit of milk on her eye with a cotton ball and it’ll clear up. It cleared up my babies eye within 10 hours - magic !
