My advice is that if you still struggle to tell them apart at 4 months old, get their DNA tested. I had the same type twin pregnancy. Was told they were fraternal, was not told there is still a 30% chance they are identical. I got their DNA tested at 8 months and sure enough, identical. More advice: get a twin z pillow, it is a lifesaver. Put as many premade meals in the freezer as you can fit in there while you are pregnant bc you wont have time or energy to cook after you give birth. Lastly, get as much help and support as you can. Start expanding your village now and never feel bad about asking for help. You will need it and it is essential for yours and babies' health. You got this ❤️ Congratulations!

Congrats! 🎊 I would recommend taking care of yourself first!
1) I would start investing in Palmer’s Stretch Mark lotion and apply it every night. Also be mindful that stretch marks might still be inevitable.
2) Start getting a pregnancy pillow; I had a wrap around pillow and it was too hot in the house. Find a pillow that works for you. Also consider sleeping propped up in a reclining position when breathing becomes hard.
3) I would invest in some good compression socks, and wide comfortable shoes. They will make walking/waddling so much easier. 🐧
4) you should also rest whenever you can, and take it easy on the stress. You should try meditating, reading, exercising, knitting, crafting or any mindful hobbies.
5) clean up your diet… because heartburn and indigestion will be a pain. I also got preeclampsia, and had to be on medication. That made my morning sickness worse. You don’t want to be feeling sick on top of being tired in your last trimester.
Good luck and enjoy! 😉

Keep them on the same routine/schedule as much as possible!!
You got this!!

I also agree keep them on the same routine/schedule makes it so much easier and they will nap at the same time with the same routine so it’ll give you a break! My twin pillow was a life saver when giving them a bottle when I had no help! X

Thank you!! All really useful advice. We're still in the shock and laughing stage 😂 our plan of just one kid has gone fully out the window...

Congratulations!! The twin Z is such an amazing product, definitely our favorite by far. Keeping them on the same schedule is so nice in those early months, but don’t feel bad if they get off schedule as they get older. They’re two different people and they could end up with different sleep needs.
Definitely lean on the people around you so you can get some rest and time for yourself. It may be hard, but taking time for yourself can help you be more present for them.
You don’t necessarily need two of everything, particularly as they get older. Their interests in toys will vary plus, it’s a great opportunity to have them learn to take turns.
You’ve got this!!
