I am FTM and about to reach 37 week. I have heard, read, research, prepare and done everything to be in good state of mood for delivery. I have amazing support system with me.
But still i am anxious, scared as what is about to happen in upcoming weeks?
How it will start? How i have to be on alert mode to make sure its that sign of delivery. Or how it will go? What about my child health and my health after delivery? And endless thoughts on what’s gonna happen next?
How are you preparing for all of it mentally? Or anyone else having this anxiety?

I had a cervix check two days prior to delivery. I went home and did mile circuit next morning and walked the entire day. I had anterior placenta and didnt feel much except pressure. I started having tight belly and pressure to where i couldnt sit or lay. Went in i was 6.5cm at that point. I was nervous and anxious. What helped was a warm bath and some distractions such as watching tv or listening to hypnobirth podcast. Once i had epidural i took a nap for a bit then they came in popped my water and i had my boy out about 16min later with a couple pushes.
Best thing i can say is to just try to relax and dont tense up if u can help it with contractions. Practice breathing techniques.
You got this mama!! 🙏🫶

I would just stop watching for any single sign of labor. Honestly once you LL be in labor you LL know it. Just relax, rest, sleep, eat well, have a few walks,... You can't control much during labor you LL just follow what your body is totally able to do (I recommend to have a birth plan so you know what you want. Plan A, plan B and plan C if needed. ). It's also ok to feel anxious, just try not to let your anxiety take over your calm if possible. You can also keep yourself a little busy. Have a lunch with friends, a talk with family, a walk with the dog or whatever makes you feel like time is not so slow.

Rest, hydrate, relax your mind and body. I was anxious before having my first baby but you know what I realized? That’s what our bodies are made for! You can do this mama and you will!
I’d love some uk feedback on results time. We was called in for NIPT Harmony last week and had the test on Tuesday. The results take 7-10 days but the nurse said they go to Germany and there super efficient so she would expect to get them back possibly today. Has anyone else got results in 6-7 days. I’m making myself ill worrying and barely sleeping

Is anyone else getting more scared as they get closer to due date? I don’t mean scared of birth, I’m actually quite excited for that. But I mean scared something is going to go wrong before I reach birth.
this is my first baby and my whole pregnancy I’ve had NO complications, it feels too good to be true. now everyday that goes by I’m worrying “everything’s been so perfect somethings bound to go wrong”. and I just keep worrying about the WORST scenarios. it’s sending my anxiety through the roof.
I just can’t believe this is real life and I’m really about to have a baby in my arms. It’s so bittersweet but feels too good too be true.
I just want him out of me already so this anxiety can go away and I know everything is fine.
anyone else?

34 weeks tomorrow and just ready for this baby to be evicted! I never struggled in my last pregnancy but this time everything seems to be going wrong 😩 I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism a few weeks ago and my anxiety is sky high and I just can’t breathe especially with a big boy pressing on my lungs 🤦🏼♀️ Please tell me I am not the only one who is done😭

Apologies that this post is TMI but I dont know what to do. I've got two daughters who are 2 and a half and nearly 10 months. I've always had really heavy periods since I started at 12, I'm now 29.
After my first daughter was born, I bled every day for 6 months, had a load of hospital tests, scans, blood tests, nothing was ever picked up. I'm incredibly anemic, my ferritin level recently was 6, I was put on iron tablets that are 210mg but they aren't working. I feel really weak, constantly exhausted, dizzy, no appetite and for heavy periods all I get given by the GP is tranexamic acid tablets which help to slow it down. The consultant also said this after my first daughter qas born.
The GP just doesn't care and said they aren't doing my bloods again until November. I can't go to A&E when I've 2 kids to look after and my partner works full time and none of our family live near us. Has anyone been through similar? What was the outcome?

I’m 5 weeks pregnant and feeling quite anxious about whether everything is okay. How do you cope with the uncertainty and find reassurance at this early stage? Any tips to help ease my mind until I can get confirmation from my doctor?
