My weekend routine is he wakes between 5-6amš« we snuggle in bed for an hour jd he gets up at 5, half an hour if itās 6. I usually feed and change the baby first then we head down the stairs together.
I give my toddler breakfast around 7am and then he plays with some toys whilst I eat myself and wash the babies bottles.
8-11am we usually stay in the house and this is a mixture of different types of play of his choice and then screen time (TV) when his baby sister is having a nap so itās quieter.
11-12 we all have lunch. Then we usually go outdoors 1-3pm usually to the park or his gymnastics club when itās on. I baby wear little sis during this time. Sometimes we will go swimming or other more exciting things.
Home for 4pm for dinner. 5pm more free play and TV. We have dinner during his TV time. Then he goes for his shower at 5:30pm.
I put his sister to bed at 6pm and he helps dad tidy up etc etc, quality bonding time with dad.
7-7:30pm he goes down for bed x

So my average days are mundane and we do get bored etc but boredom is the best way for them to be. Boost creativity x

We get up at 7, have breakfasts, get dressed and go out in the morning. Usually to a stay and play or just for a walk/ trip to the park.
Kids have lunch at 11 then nap 12-2.
Afternoons we play at home, playdough, painting, colouring, lego, farm, read books whatever box I choose to get out really. Get chores done whilst my toddler 'helps' I have a learning tower so she helps me make dinner.
Then 4:30 we have dinner then watch 30 mins of TV waiting for dad to get home before books bath and bed at 7

So for context we have a 6mo and a 2.5 year old, my husband has gone to Prague for 2 nights on a business trip. I canāt help but feel a rage inside me when Iām having a hard time putting the kids to bed and I can see heās out having a nice dinner and having drinks at bars. I suppose I am maybe abit jealous that he gets to do these things, it causes arguments. Is it normal I feel like this?

Anytime my husband is angry at me , he uses words like fool, stupid, I regret marrying u etc . Even when Iām wrong I canāt apologize cos I get hurt and he in turn gets mad that I donāt take accountability. For context 90% of our Arguments is about the house being tidy.

My MIL is a bitchš sorry, just had to start off with that. Okay, now that I got that out š let me give yāall the backstory because I genuinely need to know if Iām being dramatic or if this is as fucked up as it feels.
My MIL is the CEO of the company I work for. My husband also works there, heās a Coordinator, and I was working as an Administrative Assistant/Peer Support Specialist. My husband and his mom have not been on speaking terms since July. Iām not going to dump the entire family tree on yāall š. Just know things between them have been BAD. We were also supposed to go to Thailand with her, but because of the issues between her and my husband, that trip basically got taken away from us. She went without us and came back literally ONE DAY before our gender reveal. She was not invited.
Now, before anybody says, āWell, thatās her sonās mom, how could you not invite her?ā there is a LOT more to that situation, and at this point, my husband and I decided we were not going to pretend everything was fine just because it was a family event. We did invite some of our coworkers, though. Fast forward to Tuesday. I get called in and told that Iām being demoted. The reason I was given?
Budget cuts.
Okay⦠sucks, but whatever. Iām trying to be an adult about it. Iām pregnant, I have bills, and obviously getting demoted is stressful, but if the company is cutting the budget, then I can at least understand that itās a business decision.
Exceptā¦
My husband and like 7 other ppl at the company got promoted the same week!! And then I was supposed to work until Friday in the office, but she sends another coworker of mine to tell me that she wants me gone the same day so my co worker can move in my space. How unprofessional!! Eventually my husband talked to his mom, and suddenly there were apparently MULTIPLE reasons for my demotion that had nothing to do with budget cuts. She allegedly told him that I had said I couldnāt lift certain items because Iām pregnant. NEVER SAID THAT! She brought up paperwork that supposedly wasnāt turned in. NEVER DID THAT! And then there was a customer complaint over the phone. BUT WAS CONFIRMED TO NOT BE ME! It was another employee.
Honestly, the part that bothers me the most isnāt even the demotion itself. Itās the possibility that something personal happening between my husband and his mother could have crossed over into my job. Because if you donāt like your son right now, thatās between yāall. If youāre mad that your sonās wife didnāt invite you to her gender reveal, okay. But my paycheck??? LEAVE MY PAYCHECK OUT OF IT. š

I swear I've woken up on the wrong side of the bed which doesn't help this scenario.
But am I being petty for being severely pissed off at my partner.
He puts the bottles on the steriliser. Didn't fill up or put the kettle on. Didn't fill the power pots ready.
Asked him to shut the blinds in my eldest room as you could see right in. Come back from shop they were still open.
Hasn't loaded in dishwasher in over a week.
I literally been feeling like a single mother these days. Like I know he is working more than usual but cumon he was already half prepping the bottles.

Weāve been potty training our nearly 3 year old since the beginning of September and I honestly thought we would have been finished by now š
Heās fine with going in the house now but he will only go in his little potty that sits in the living room, he wonāt go on the actual toilet. He goes himself most of the time but we do still have to ask him sometimes and I feel like he holds his wees in for hours sometimes. Heās is completely fine with poos though.
The problem is heās naked from the waist down in the house. If we put anything on him he just thinks he can wee in it š pants, trousers, pyjamas etc he just doesnāt seem to understand that he still needs to use the potty. He also doesnāt really care if heās wet so I donāt know how to get him past that.
Iāve got no idea what to do when we go out either, I offer to take him to the toilet but he never goes so I just end up putting a nappy on him to go out for an easier life.
He starts nursery next week and Iām starting to panic a bit š Has anyone else had a toddler like this and how did you get them to the next stage?
Any tips would be appreciated xx
