My son loves brushing his teeth he’s 18months I let him hold it while I brush so he thinks he’s doing it he gets very happy about it 😊

Same problem with my daughter ! I've let her " brush my teeth before " ....let her brush her own. Nothing really works at the moment. We sing ABCs while I brush to make it more tolerable for all involved

It's touch and go with my 20 month old. She'll let me help sometimes and other times I also have to hold her down. Her dentist told me it's better to hold them down and do it properly then their teeth going bad and that it won't traumatize them, just do what works for now. It will get better... Hopefully 😅

I pretend to brush mine and then say your turn, and keep switching between mine and hers. It’s been working really well and she used to not let me at all!! The other thing was switching to the Tom’s watermelon toothpaste instead of mint, she likes it much better
