Cats with fleas
HELP!!!
I have found 4 total fleas on two of my three cats. I'm trying to find a soap to bathe my cats tonight. A vet recommended advantage 2 for them. Washing bedding and vacuuming everything. Anything else I might be missing? I've never had this happen.

Dawn soap
Have you started the prevention? Soaking them in dawn is what we do in the pet grooming industry strictly for fleas. You may need to do a few rounds of it and have it sit on them for 5 minutes at a time.
When we had fleas we tried EVERYTHING! All of the over the counter items, collars, creams, diatomaceous earth, we even bombed the house and it seemed like nothing helped!! We went to like 2 or 3 vets before one of them gave us a prescription nexguard and it got rid of them finally after like 2 years🥲 iwe did that every month for a year to get through the whole flea life cycle! Good luck!!!
You need to treat the pets with a flea preventative and than clean the house, bathing them will do nothing the fleas will continue to latch onto the cats
Only like 5% of fleas are on your animals, the rest is in your house. Vacuum a lot. Mop, wash all sheets etc.
I have no carpet, I live in an apartment, the only fabric things we have are our beds, and two couches. Besides blankets, and clothes.
