I had a underactive thyroid and was prescribed a medication called Levothyroxine. My thyroid levels are back to normal but I was told I need to to stay on the Levothyroxine for it to stay normal. In regard to the Iron deficiency was never tested for this.

That’s crazy because iron and thyroid are linked each one can effect the other

If your iron is low it can effect your thyroid and if you thyroid isn’t working properly it can cause iron deficiency

Yes, I was prescribed levothyroxine week 12 and then later on they put me on iron supplements for low iron. Now I'm no longer pregnant and everything is back to normal!

Ok, now that you mention this I'm going to check with my doctors about my Iron. I have a blood test coming up soon, so will speak to them then. Thanks.

Now I’m nervous I’m getting my iron and thyroid checked next week

When i was First pregnant they put me on iron tablets for low platelets but wasn’t till weeks later at 22 weeks they tested my thyroid and said i had underactive thyroid so was on Levothyroxine for the rest of the pregnancy then when he was born they did my levels and i was told i was fine told i didn’t need to take tablets but 14 months later they did bloods and I’ve s underactive thyroid again

My doctor has recently told me the same thing!
Given me tablets for both.
I have since found out there is a type of underactive thyroid that some women can get after birth and it does not normally stay for long but GPs don’t seem to tell anyone this.
Too be honest I’ve not been taking the thyroid tablets as they made me keep going dizzy and really hot all the time!
I had a blood test last week (2 months after the first one)
And now they are saying by my levels are nearly normal??? Without taking the meds?
It’s all crazy . I’m glad I went for the second check with different doctors xx

Aunt flow appeared last night! Another failed cycle! So fed up! Only three months in and it’s so sad every time I get my period!

I’m 6 months pp and ebf, no periods yet. I get random aches but still no sign of periods. How is it for you all ?

Lately I've been feeling sad, my body suddenly has a lot of random symptoms, I just want to feel better 😟 and I'm not sure if I'm going through perimenopause I'm 34.

Has anyone had their period go a bit crazy after getting the implant removed? 😭
I had mine removed on 21st August and my last period was around 8th–12th August. I’m now late and still waiting for my period to show up.
I’ve taken a few pregnancy tests and they’ve all been negative so far, so I’m just wondering if anyone else had a delayed cycle after implant removal and how long it took for things to regulate again?
My body is currently giving me absolutely no useful information

Is anyone having problems with hormones. I find I have started to hate my husband and am starting to fall out of love with him. I’m really not sure if it’s my hormones or if I’m genuinely falling out of love with him. This is my first pregnancy so I’m unsure if it’s normal or not
