So for context, I lost my dad in Feb suddenly and have since had a load of blood tests done privately to test my own health, some of which have come back flagged for various things that are now being investigated further..
Anyway, following on from them all, things have gotten really bad these past few days and after speaking with the GP today and discussing my latest test results, I’ve now been referred to a place in Manchester to be tested for polycystic ovaries (or whatever the new name is) as a lot of things are pointing in that direction and the GP is fairly certain that’s the cause of most of my problems. Potentially PMDD too.
I’ve been asked to trial being on a progesterone only pill for 3 months to see if it helps with a lot of my symptoms (it’s not safe for me to have the combined apparently), previously I’ve not agreed with the pill but those health issues have since been resolved so she would like me to retry it..
Has anyone else found it to help ease symptoms with it balancing your hormones? I’m so bloody nervous to go back on it but I’m willing to try anything at this point. Just want to feel better for the sake of my girls and partner.
And in general, if anyone has anything that helps them with their symptoms please share 🥲
