So bd to my youngest daughter is in prison for bout over a year. He’s been asking for a relationship, even before lock up. He’s went on a 3 week silent trip, then now actually acknowledges that he’s “ been an absent boyfriend/baby father” he literally never says anything about the elephant in the room. One of the hardest things for me to actually start over with him was if he didn’t either apologize or acknowledge shytt both tbh. I never thought I’d hear him mention anything about the past 2 years he’s been absent. But the 3 week silence & with no check in makes it hard to receive what seems to be his attempt at repairing.
