Hello girlies! Does anyone started experiencing pelvic floor pain around week 21? kind of like cramp that doesn’t go away? 😭 I mean it does go away eventually but it comes back and stay most of the time. I started since week 21! Does somebody know if this is related to baby growth? And do you know if it’s just lasting a little bit? I don’t imagine the other half of pregnancy with this pain😭 Help! 😭 I literally been in hospital but they said it might be the ligaments and can improve in different sitting positions, but its no even about position because the pain increase an decrease in the exactly same position 🥺 Any clue or advice?

I have round ligament pains and lightening crotch. Focusing on strengthening and stability is going to be fundamental for this journey. Pelvic floor physical therapy and prenatal yoga are the best things that I can suggest.

Have you tried going to a pelvic floor physical therapist. They can do perineum massage that’s like heaven for relaxing the muscles. You can also try yourself.

Maternity physiotherapist- get yourself referred and you can start with some ice compressions before sleeping. Once the pain has successfully reduced start prenatal yoga for stretching and strengthening.
Remember no warm compresses near the tummy. If it’s truely pelvic, you can do warm compress
They told me it’s a girl and now at 35 weeks their are telling me it’s a boy. The sonographer has been different everytime! How do I trust anyone at this point?! Here’s a photo of their privates! The one who did it today said she’s 100% certain it’s a boy. Has this happened to anyone here?

I’ve had a history of stress incontinence and general pelvic floor weakness before pregnancy and also lower back issues like sciatica before pregnancy. Now I know C-sec is a major surgery with longer recovery times but vaginal birth could lead to worsening of the pelvic floor and worst case scenario could lead to C-sec anyway! So I’m really not sure how to make a decision here, there are so many unknowns of how the birth could go and how the body can react after! Any advice on how you are choosing your way of delivery??
