Intrusive thoughts

I’m 38+5 today and I’m really struggling with intrusive thoughts… I just can’t imagine actually getting to the end of pregnancy and being able to take home a baby. I had 2 back to back miscarriages at 6 weeks before conceiving my current baby and maybe that has something to do with it. I have a planned c-section booked for Sunday and the closer it gets the worse the thoughts are getting and I’m terrified something will happen between now and then. I’m constantly analysing movements, or lack thereof, and I’m driving myself crazy. Has anyone experienced this?

I’m literally in the same boat , I lost a baby at 10 weeks gestation in January and before I could even fully process it I got pregnant again by February , I’m 38 weeks today and I told my midwife how I feel , I said that even tho I can feel my baby kicking me and I’m really excited I can’t help but be able to not comprehend that I’m actually going to be a mum , I said I’m so worried that he will die or something or even after he is born that I will lose him and she said that these feelings are very normal to have , have you spoken to anyone about this though? If you haven’t it is 100% worth talking to your midwife or mental health support , you might be entitled to extra midwife visits after you give birth , I feel you my love but I can say that your going to be an amazing mum and your so close to seeing that little face now , it will happen and god willing nothing bad happens to you at all, wishing you a safe and healthy c section so you can recover with your baby in peace x

Have you been intimate with your partner yet?

How is everyone feeling? I was only intimate with my fiancé from last week as I was scared! For the record, I had an episiotomy and recovery was an absolute killer.

Another baby?

Anyone currently considering having a another baby or ttc?
Feb baby was my 3rd, so another would make 4. Am I crazy? Is 4 too many? We have a q7 so car wise is fine, the youngest two would have to share a room a couple year until we buy a 5 bed but thats not the end of the world I dont think!
Do you think im crazy 🤪

Lifting and carrying toddler

Second time mummas, did you/do you still carry your toddler whilst pregnant? I try avoid it as much as I can but my two year old still wants and needs to be carried sometimes. I do occasionally feel pains in my abdomen after I carry her, like an ache or sore pain which I’m hoping is just muscular. I know it’s not ideal but please tell me I’m not doing something bad or wrong!

Pregnancy and blood thinners

After my last pregnancy they discovered a clot in my lung post C-section, I was very unwell and felt awful. Any future pregnancies I will now be considered high risk and on blood thinners as well as the likelihood of reoccurring gestational diabetes. My question is, can I hear from some of you who were on blood thinners the entire pregnancy and how this effected birth/c sections? I really want another child but genuinely scared that I will bleed to 💀
