Scared of shadow
Anyone got any advice on a toddler who’s scared of his own shadow?
I don’t mean it in a way of he’s scared of everything I mean he’s literally scared of his own shadow! It sounds cute and initially it was but he’s literally terrified and getting quite upset.
The nights are drawing in and the mornings are dark so the lights are on more and he tries to run away from it and when he can’t he gets upset.
I’ve tried showing him my shadow, making shadow puppets etc but it hasn’t helped and I can’t switch the lights off and get ready in the dark but I hate seeing him so upset.
It’s random so not sure if one’s gone through this but any advice is much appreciated.

My daughters going through the same…. Ive tried to show her everyone and everything has a shadow in even making hand shadow but she still rushes to me when she sees hers…. Your not alone
