Why

Why is it so damn hard to get a playdate. I’m trying my best to socialize my son and it’s just so hard. He likes to play and for months now I’ve been trying to get him into play dates so he can socialize with his age group but options are already limited as is here. (Library is dead and they probably have 1-3 days where his age group (12 months) has events.)

Family members/friends don’t have kids his age they either haven’t had kids or their kids are older than him. Parks have toddlers 3+ age and are too advanced to play with at this time. I “know” a lot of SAHM like myself but we seem to never get out the chat it’s always an excuse. So I don’t know what else to do. We still take him places and he mainly sees adults. In public if there are kids around like when we’re shopping he’ll stare at them but that’s the most he’s gotten. It just would be nice to chat in person with moms about our kiddos while they play lol
