I’m really tempted to tell our parents and a couple of close friends after our early scan, but part of me feels like I should wait until 12 weeks.
Is it unusual to tell people that early, or do most people tell their parents/closest friends quite soon? I know there’s no “right” time, I’m just curious what other people did because keeping it quiet already feels so hard 😂

We have already told a couple of close friends but first time around we told parents around 7ish weeks 😊 xx

It depends entirely on your opinion of what would happen if you had a loss.
Would you hate the idea of telling those people about it, or would you want their support?
As for me, I would prefer if my closest people knew the baby while the baby was here, rather than telling them there was a baby and not anymore 🫂 Hence why I think there is nothing as too early.
That being said I would only tell the absolute closest people 😊

Ive always told immediate family as soon as I find out. I have a history of losses, this is my 4th pregnancy in 2 years. My last loss was in August. Now I'm 5+4 weeks and have only told my mum should anything happen again and she can look after my 14 month old. Im waiting until 12 weeks to tell the rest of the family, and it's been so hard!

3.5 weeks for close friends and family 6 weeks slightly more distant family 12 weeks for general family and public

The more kids the longer the wait . I’m pregnant now and I didn’t start until 12 weeks ish . But with my first I told the world lol
How is everyone feeling? I was only intimate with my fiancé from last week as I was scared! For the record, I had an episiotomy and recovery was an absolute killer.

I’m 14 weeks tomorrow and after my most recent blood test I’ve been put onto aspirin due to a risk of pre-eclampsia (1 in 103) and risk of fetal growth restriction (1 in 118) . They didn’t really explain it much and just told me I have to go on aspirin and it’s really scared me.

Anyone currently considering having a another baby or ttc?
Feb baby was my 3rd, so another would make 4. Am I crazy? Is 4 too many? We have a q7 so car wise is fine, the youngest two would have to share a room a couple year until we buy a 5 bed but thats not the end of the world I dont think!
Do you think im crazy 🤪

I am now 32 weeks pregnant and experiencing high BP(I check it 3x a day and it fluctuates between high 130-140’s), am lightheaded, dizzy, and have super bad upper abdominal pain near the center/right side of my belly. It is tender to the touch and feels like a constant burning/stabbing pain(it is NOT the baby kicking). Has anyone who has had preeclampsia let me know if this is concerning? I’ve called my OB 3x now and all she keeps telling me is to go to L&D if I’m that concerned otherwise she’d see me at my next appt 😕 I don’t want to go to L&D and take up a bed if these are just normal pregnancy symptoms but this feels far from normal & I do think something is wrong, even if it’s not preeclampsia!

Second time mummas, did you/do you still carry your toddler whilst pregnant? I try avoid it as much as I can but my two year old still wants and needs to be carried sometimes. I do occasionally feel pains in my abdomen after I carry her, like an ache or sore pain which I’m hoping is just muscular. I know it’s not ideal but please tell me I’m not doing something bad or wrong!
