8 week jabs

My boy had his 8 weeks jabs this morning, he has a temp of 38.2 and has had 3 lots of calpol. He will not settle unless on me and he’s so sad… complete opposite to his normal self😢 anyone else’s baby really struggle after their jabs? Think I’m in for a long night

Yes it was brutal. I just kept him close for the two days. I was going to do another calpol dose the next day but his temp had come down by the morning

Mine didn't get temperature but he really needed me. He was on top of me for a few days, a bit extra sleepy but needed me

Mine had his yesterday. He had a similar temp aswell. I’ve been dosing him up with calpol

I had to call nhs 24 after three doses. I’m glad I did as his fever got worse after we went to hospital. They gave him ibuprofen. I would phone ooh.

Advice is to phone out of hours if temp goes over 38.

Washing liquid

Hi! I can’t stand the weird smell of any of the blue non bio washing stuff. Is there anything else that can be used for washing newborn? Something that smells a bit better 😬

Dream feeding

Hi
I need to stop dream feeding my baby at night when he wakes up. How do you do this or transition? He is mainly breastfed but I’ve started to give a bottle on the night on the last feed before he sleeps

Anyone else?

Anyone else a c section, co sleeping, breastfeeding mama and your body is just in bits? I don’t know if my bed is just uncomfortable postpartum or if it’s my body and cosleeping/breastfeeding positions. I feel like stretching helps a little but my hips and lower back especially are awful, but generally I just feel so achy and uncomfortable most of the time. Is it just me?

Anyone have a car seat where your toddlers head doesn’t fall forward when they fall asleep??

Baby not crawling

LO is 8 months old and she isn’t crawling yet is it something to be worried about ??

What wakes your baby up?

I'm curious...when your baby wakes overnight, what is it waking them up? Is it hunger or something else? My little boy (breastfed) only wakes for two nights feeds (which is great!) but wakes himself up after wriggling/flapping about in his sleep every 1.5/2 hours too 😬
