issues with c section for a YEAR?

dont read if your about to have a c section this is a rare occurrence <3 ive had issues with my c section for a year this month now and no one takes me seriously has anyone else dealt with this? warning tmi!! my c section wound got infected due to stiches that didnt need to be removed being removed and scince then it has flared up and gone raw red swollen and leaks a clear/yellow liquid and opens up monthly... i have had antibiotics monthly for a year i have had multiple professionals look at it and tell me its normal and even changes doctors who are now saying lets do an ultrasound but its been a month waiting for it! and now its open ...again! im beyond frustrated infact insainly traumatised and in therapy for it... i cannot wear tight clothes or workout or do too much of anything in fear of it opening up. i have come to the conclusion im going to go a&e tomorrow if my doctors dont take me seriously again. anyone else had a similar issue? sidenote im very hygenic and this is freaking me out due to that how on earth am i supposed to cope🥹

Hiya! i had a similar story but only for about 4 months, my wound was closing up and reopening weekly, and when it opened it poured so much clear/yellow fluid i had to put a nappy across the wound😫 a sanitary towel would be completely drenched in an hour, its been good for about 6 weeks now so praying its all over🤞 i did have a ultrasound and they said they saw slightly excessive scar tissue but kinda expected from all the infections, and a small build up of fluid but nothing where they felt the need to intervene. I had 5 different types of antibiotics none of them seemed to work any differently. The last DR i saw told me to salt water bath the wound as many times a day as i could as well as laying flat and letting the air get to it. I did this and it seems to have sorted it 🤞🤞🤞 but i completely understand how bloody traumatic it is🥹so sorry ur going through this x

Also! if ur struggling to get anyone to take u seriously, id walk straight into labour and delivery ward - Just cry and ask for help, they will be far more empathetic than ur standard gp or a&e doctor, even if they couldn’t treat you directly they might be able to have a word with a dr in the hospital to get you seen properly

I had my anatomy scan today and found out I’m having a boy 🩵 would have been over the moon either way but I’ve been convinced for the past 2 months that it was a boy so it feels good to be right haha 🥹 anterior placenta so still not feeling many movements at this stage but he is ACTIVE! Wouldn’t stop moving and kicking at the scan 😅

Early labour or BH?

FTM 39 weeks + 2. Last night I had waves of tightening across my belly with mild period and lower back pain. Lasted a couple of hours and came sporadicly but stopped around 4 am and not happened since. Could this be early labour or just BH? I know early labour can stop and start. Had lots of BH last few days but not with any pain. Also not noticed loss of my mucus plug but baby is low and engaged.

Induced

I’m currently 40 weeks +3 days. I’m supposed to be getting an induction sweep tomorrow but I really feel like this is too early?! I understand that this isn’t compulsory but I was wondering if anyone has refused to be induced. If so, how far into your pregnancy were you?

Induction

So I’m being induced one the 19th of November, I’ll be 39 weeks exactly and I just wanted to hear what others have experienced with being induced. I’m being induced for a raised bmi as per request by my midwife. Just would like to know others experience since this is my first baby.
