Is she breastfed? It is totally normal for them not to poop for several days. Up to a week is normal. Babies digest breast milk very well and generally don’t get constipated.

Yes sorry should have specified. She is breastfed but I wasn’t producing enough milk so we added formula and now has not popped.

My doctor told me that it’s completely normal for them to miss a poop, you just don’t want them to go a week then you should see doctor

When my baby is constipated and shows it I feed her and she ends up pooping because of the liquid passing through her body. I would try that! Also bending their knees a bit into them always helps if you hold it a bit! If baby doesn’t poop for days I would recommend the doctor

gas drops helps my baby idk if you’ve tried that but i also message her belly and do bicycle motions with her legs and that helps some

Mom hack- Everytime you change her diaper (using a wipe) rub her colon in a circular motion gently. That's the first route I take with my babies before trying to give them any medicine or drops or something else I worry might gas them up further. They usually go within a few hours!

My baby just went through this too. She was also very gassy/uncomfortable and was spitting up more than usual. Her doctor recommended Mylicon drops and it worked like a charm. She had bowl movement less than 2 hours later

Stool

My baby boy is 4 months old almost 5 and is formula fed. He has been pooping green for months now and my nurse practitioner didn’t have anything to say about it.. is this normal? He doesn’t complain and is a healthy boy!

For mums who have been through this before, what did you do with your little one’s bedtime & morning wake up routine / timings when the clocks go back in October? I’ve got a 5 month old and looking for advice on how should I mange the change with her.

Baby clothes washing 🫧

Hi mummas!

FTM here. What laundry detergent should I use? Can I buy own brand (Aldi) or is it better to go with branded (fairy)?

Do you use fabric conditioner, or just laundry detergent?

Thank you!

Sleeping in Swing

The only way my husband can get our 5 day old baby boy to sleep is to have him in arms being rocked or in this swing. He says he and his ex let my SD sleep in her swing for months because she needed the incline for reflux.

Google says baby should not be in the swing for more than an hour a day. But Google also says no cosleeping and I feel like swing or cosleeping might be the only ways to ever sleep.

My husband is wonderful and is taking 8pm-2am and we're barely home and already exhausted. Is this OK?

Not sure where to share

I'm for sure proud, but I don't know where or how to post this, because I never want someone to feel anything less than wonderful in regards to their child(ren).

So.. my son learned his numbers 0-12 over a couple months when he was 1 and a half, because he's ALWAYS wanting to learn about everything. He knows all of his colors, numbers up to 25, can recognize and name emotions in books and people, and knows/recognizes 15 of the letters in the alphabet. He just turned 2 and a half a few days ago.

A couple weeks ago, we're drawing, having fun, and he goes, "Eight!" And happily points to the board where he was drawing (you can see some scribbles here, too lol). I look, and see he drew the number 8. Intentionally.

Now, his dad is in MENSA, but I really am shocked, because he "shouldn't be able to do this yet". 😂

Anyone else with a child like this? I want to ensure I continue to challenge him, and have joked about making weekly lesson plans for him. I have stayed at home with him since birth.

Thanks!!

Jabs question??

LO had their jabs at 9.30am this morning. She has literally not been awake AT all since and its now 2pm. Only for a quick bottle 2hrs ago but her eyes didnt even open
I'm worried she will NEVER sleep at all tonight should she sleep all day
Ive tried to put her down and she does a really horrid cry as soon as she leaves my arms, which is not like her
Is this normal? Sleep all day? Did your babies do this and still sleep at night or not? Just wondering if to prepare to be awake all niggt!
