Hi,
After I give birth I was wondering if I can request a private room (Idm paying for it) I read somewhere it can be like 100/200 per night. To clarify I don't want to give birth privately in an NHS hospital. I just think I might want some privacy afterwards. Does anyone know if all hospitals offer this and how do we go about requesting this?
Thanks a lot in advance

It’s hospital dependent so I’d speak to the hospital you’re planning to give birth at. Mine used to but due to such high volumes of women they stopped them and turned them into over flow rooms they can no longer be booked x

This isn’t something that NHS hospitals offer. Mine allows a few hours before being moved to a shared room

Definitely ask, but I imagine that they won’t be able to guarantee it as they will be on a health need basis.

I was told the same thing so I had my hopes up, but this was absolutely not a thing when I asked. I was also in hospital for a week after my first and never got our own room.

You can usually find out online if this is something your trust offers but if not ask your midwife. It's not a thing at my hospital at all
So my boyfriend recently has been having wet dreams an I tried to bring it up to him an he tells me he doesn’t an never has an I been recording wut he says in his sleep an I caught him saying booty an then uh I keep bringing it up to him cuz it makes me not be able to sleep cuz he’s doing things in his sleep I don’t know what to do

Hey everyone!
Anyone experienced shoulder pain during pregnancy?
I’m reading all these things online and I’m starting to freak out as I am not sure if it’s because of training or something more serious. It’s not at the tip of the shoulder and don’t have any bleeding.
My scan is on the 5th of November! I am about 5 weeks ish

I have been told I’ll most likely be getting induced as a first time mum. What’s everyone’s experience like what an induction, and a baloon one too😐

Really think I'm having line eyes. Can someone invert this to see if they can see anything?

Had a growth scan today at 36 weeks and baby is measuring 7lbs and 9oz. The doctor has said they would like me to have an induction at 38 weeks which I’m happy to do but also not opposed to having a c section. Can anyone offer any advice or previous similar experiences! Thanks x
