Had an emergency c section a week ago today which was quite bad as I was 9.5cm dilated and ended up with other complications.
I thought I would be a bit more mobile by now but still feeling so sore especially on one side of my scar. Guess just wanted to understand anyone else’s experiences and recovery process and if there is anything I can do to reduce the scar it looks big and raised at the moment!!

I had an emergency section 4 months ago... it was so much worse than I had ever been told. I was lightheaded and disoriented for about 3 weeks after. Passing wind, wee or poo hurt and announced themselves with horrendous sharp stomach cramps. The only thing is I had no problems with scar at all. I started to massage it with bio oil after 6 weeks. It still feels a bit tight and tender when touched but looks very good I can barely see it. Give it time, you are still super early days - it's major surgery. I still feel like I'm healing now- my core feels quite weak still x

Mine hurt a bit more on the side where they did the final stitches, honestly at this point just leave it alone and rest as much as you can, I was unable to rest and that led to longer healing time and im still dealing with consequences of not resting properly now my insides are fused badly from not resting, wait the 6 weeks minimum then enjoy scar massage and other light movements x

The side that hurts more will be the side the surgeon tied off on! Im 31 weeks with baby no.2 and my first is 3 in a few weeks- i can feel that side even now where its all stretching!
Stay on top of pain relief, this is so important-
Sorry to be graphic but I’m 7 weeks PP and for the first time I’ve looked down there with a mirror and I’m in shock!
It looks so different and I can practically see the inside of my vagina, has anyone has a similar experience?
Me and my partner are going to have sex tomorrow for the first time and now I’m worried.

Reading everyones posts and seeing stages, I'm wondering if I have one of the oldest June babies? June 1st at 12.20 am. Just a bit of fun and curiosity

Hey! I’m 18 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I’ve been feeling a pressure like pain, especially when I lay on my side and just makes me worried. Does anyone else have this? I have my 20 week scan on the 28th of this month so not long to make sure everything is okay.
