Scared of tearing!

I have not been active much my entire pregnancy. I’m due 11/25 but I’m being induced October 27 because of Cholestasis I’m scared that I may tear and a long birth due to me not moving much. Not only that being anemic as well…I’m scared of complications. Any moms have Cholestasis or had issues with iron but easy delivery?

I don’t think those necessarily have an effect on pregnancy. Have you been taking the iron supplements to help with that? I think the biggest thing to help not tear is when pushing breath through the pushing and don’t purple push. Don’t hold your breath when pushing. Try to be calm while pushing and push gently instead of trying to do it full force

And your baby will be a month early so they will be smaller that’ll also help with not tearing

Perenium (spelling?) massage. Warm up vaginal area for 20 minutes, then l would have your husband/partner look up how to do the massage. I did it with my first, and barely needed 1 stitch. It was what my OB recommended, and he made the same rec this pregnancy. It’s uncomfy for sure, but reducing the risk of tearing is worth it.
Also I’m also inducing 3 weeks early, on the 24th of October due to gestational hypertension, diabetes, and baby’s size. He’s measuring 3 weeks ahead. My firstborn was the same timeline/issue as well. You’re gonna do great! 💜
