Of course

That’s a bit weird ngl.

Yes he does. He was wary about it at first but I made sure he understood that his newborn daughter didn’t need a bra and it’s perfectly fine for him to clean her up. He just needed it to be normalized and know that a father caring for his child is pure and anything else is something he needs to work on himself before being able to care for her. He figured it out after that and hasn’t been weird about it since.

My husband doesn’t even change our son’s diaper….

I wonder if there’s something underneath that like he’s scared of feeling perverted or something. Is there a way that you usually get him to dearm and become vulnerable with you?

That's weird

Yes shes his own flesh and blood, took a little for him to leaen how to do it correctly after having a boy first but 100% yes and its weird if sads wont change them, does he bath her ?

Absolutely!
He changed her, bathed her, put coconut butter and did her little baby massages to help with gas.. all of it.
She’s almost 6 and he still bathes her, helps her change and clean up after the toilet.
Any man that won’t change his daughters nappy is a ginormous red flag 🚩

🧐Im not going to lie that’s weird babe . Men really scare me you’ll never know what is going on in their head. I bet you never had any problem changing your son so what’s the difference when it comes to him and his daughter??

I feel like men who dont want to change their daughters diaper is deep down a predator like huh???

That’s weird. It’s his own kid. Did he give a reason? It can be weird at first for men, I can understand that. My husband was ferried to changed our daughter diaper at first because he was terrified of hurting her/ giving her a uti. I had to show him exactly how to wipe a girl (front to back) and explained you have to get in between the creases, then explain that no you will not hurt her. He changed every diaper from then on. So is it fear based or is it because she is a girl?

Single mom of 2 kids . Only me to do so lol

Idk that’s weird. Even with my bf he has a daughter I have a daughter if my daughter ever needed changing and I wasn’t around he would always be fine with it because he’s already a girl dad and properly knows how to do so. Any man not able to change a diaper is weird
My boy is 7 weeks old breast fed baby and his sleep is so scattered. He’ll have a night with 3 hour stretches of sleep in his bassinet and then other nights that he absolutely refuses it. I’m writing this post at 7am and I’ve been up since midnight because he will only sleep on me and I’m too nervous to fall asleep if he’s on me. Not looking for advice, believe me I’ve tried absolutely everything. Just looking for mamas in a similar situation to know I’m not alone.

Looking to hear about other people's experiences on sterilisation. I was sterilised on Saturday. Before I went in I was told the surgery will take roughly 30 mins and the pain would be minimal. However it took 2 and half hours and the pain has been excruciating, I'm also getting more swollen since its been done and bleeding more vaginally (but not heavily) I ended up staying in over night because my blood pressure dropped drastically, and I wasn't responding to any of the pain medication. I have no explanation for any of this, as I was moved wards pretty quickly so no one from the surgical team spoke to me afterwards, and i have only my discharge notes to go by, which state everything was normal and went well. Did anyone else end up in an unexpected amount of pain? How long did it last? I've been told I can't lift or bend for 2 weeks minimum, did anyone else manage before this?

My 9.5-month-old baby girl has been putting me THROUGH IT lately. 😂 For the last 3–4 weeks, this girl has barely slept through the night. She’s been waking up around 2–3 AM every night, and for the last week or so, she’s started waking up a SECOND time around 4–5 AM. But last night… OOOOF. 🫠
She woke up at 3 AM, I changed her diaper and offered her a bottle. She drank an ounce and fell back asleep, so I laid her back down. About 45 minutes later, she was awake AGAIN. I tried offering her the rest of her bottle, but she completely refused it and would only settle back to sleep on my chest.
I tried laying her back down, and NOPE. Immediately started crying. So I ended up lying down with her sleeping on my chest for TWO HOURS before I finally managed to transfer her to the bed without waking her up.
Now I’m running on approximately 3 hours of sleep, and this mama is STRUGGLING. 🫠😂
Has anyone else’s baby gone through something like this around 9–10 months? Is this a sleep regression, teething, separation anxiety, or is my little dictator just keeping me humble? 😭😂
PLEASE tell me this gets better! I would love to hear your experiences, tips, tricks, or literally anything that helped your little ones sleep better. I’m all ears at this point. 🥲❤️

I’m not sure how long I can do this.
Baby is 4 weeks and 3 days and wants the boob almost all day long (he’s already been like this almost a fortnight), during the night he settles in his next to me from about 22:00-00:00 but once he’s awake he’s feeding for over an hour (actively sucking and also comfort I think).
He’ll go back in his crib for 20-30 mins and then the cycle starts again and that’s it all night.
I feel so guilty that I’m getting frustrated but I’m shattered and don’t know how to get out of this 😞

Is anyone able to give me advice on how to do this from birth please. My first was formula only but I really want to make an attempt if I can, I just know I won’t be able to handle the whole shabang and sometimes I’m just going to need the option to just hand to my partner and say make a bottle. I absolutely do not want to touch a pump (they’re terrifying to me) so Combi is what I’m going for. TIA
