Diet and nutrition anxiety

Hi guys! I’m 19weeks pregnant and have anxiety. Recently I’ve been anxious about not getting enough nutrition for both baby and me. I keep hearing online about how much energy you use during pregnancy and I think I’m worried I’m not getting enough iron/protein/calories in general.

I do have a very varied diet and eat a lot of unprocessed and home cooked meals so this kind of thing didn’t bother me pre pregnancy.

I’ve had to delete social media off my phone because I see so much “do this” or “don’t do this” but it’s becoming a bit overwhelming!

I just want to keep both myself and the baby healthy as he grows 🩵 Any advice for nutrition or any links to good sources for this kind of thing would be greatly appreciated xx

I would start with NHS guidelines.

Get a good multivitamin and don't read lots into stuff about this topic if you already have anxiety about this.

It sounds like you are already eating really well!

I did so much reading on vitamins and not really any the wiser. I think multi vitamin makes sense :) an iron deficit would of come up in blood tests and if you have a good diet it will be fine. You got this.

Fully understand the anxiety ♡

Scared of tearing!

I have not been active much my entire pregnancy. I’m due 11/25 but I’m being induced October 27 because of Cholestasis I’m scared that I may tear and a long birth due to me not moving much. Not only that being anemic as well…I’m scared of complications. Any moms have Cholestasis or had issues with iron but easy delivery?

Anxiety

We’ve told our parents yesterday, along with a few of our closest friends which is lovely but it’s made me a bit more anxious. We’re 10-11weeks so still kinda early. I dunno what this feeling is I’m just suddenly more worried/anxious about everything or if anything was to go wrong now that people know. I’m sure it will pass x

Two chemical pregnancies in five months?!

Anyone else experience consecutive chemicals like this? And if so, did you manage to carry a baby to term normally or did it turn out there were underlying issues that needed addressing?

3 or 4 weeks 😳

My third pregnancy. First baby Ava was stillborn at 25 weeks 💔, had my rainbow baby Eliana 🌈 who is now almost 8 months and now I’m pregnant again. I don’t feel AS anxious as in Elianas pregnancy yet but it doesn’t feel real atm.
