The dreaded Glucose Tolerence Test!
Just checked Badger Notes to see they've put me in for it! NOOO! And JUST before Christmas?! I feel like the second test they do after is going to be MASSIVELY affected by all of the lovely food I'll have eaten over the period 😂😭😭😭
If anyone has done this before, have you any advice? Mine is at 8AM!

I had this done in my previous pregnancy and will need it again this time. Both tests are done on the same day, you'll be sat around for a few hours in-between the tests so take something to keep you occupied x
The earlier your test is in the morning the better to be honest because you’ll have to fast from the night before. I’ve done it 4 times over 3 pregnancies (April 27 is my third baby and had previous GD). It’s not as bad as everyone says. Blood test, glucose drink, wait around for 2 hours, another blood test and then you’re done.
8am is a fab time, my first one was at 1220pm and I was so hangry!!🤣
my last pregnancy I was with one to one midwives so I was able to just sleep the two hours at home, as all my appointments were done at home And ive just found out apparently I have to stay in clinic for the two hours 🙃

No more babies
Anyone else just had their last baby and feeling sad about it? I’ve got three babs and I’m so happy but can’t help feel sad that I know this is my last and I’ll never have those firsts again. Think I’m still hormonal 😅

Reduced Movement
Currently at the hospital for reduced movement.I was strapped to a machine and after an hour,they told me they had to redo it as the results did not meet the criteria.Has anyone had this before?I’m trying to stay calm and can feel faint movement which is good.Should I be worried?What questions should I be asking when I go back in a couple of hours for a repeat test?Has anyone experienced this?
