Just want peace
Its a very long story but ill cut it short my basic issue is i have2kids and my husband of 13yrs threatened me with divorce then asked for space its been 1.5years that we are in no contact we live in separate places,the thing is that i grapple with is im stuck no dont suggest divorce i just want peace of mind while going through this awful time

Your peace should be there being as though you are away from him. He asked for a divorce so let him have one. His loss. I understand you may need help with the little ones. Does he see them?
Sometimes the things we hold on to are exactly what we need to let go of to find peace. Sending love in your hard time I can’t imagine after so many years with someone you love/ loved.
You haven't spoken in 1.5 yrs? But you want to remain married to him?
Does he know this? I'm not being cute, I'm genuinely asking. I can't imagine not seeing or talking to my spouse for that long. He hasn't dated anyone else? Does he see your child?
Personally I wouldn't continue to pursue the marriage. He clearly isn't interested in being a partner to you so I would move on and find someone that does.
