I think I had Covid in my week 5-6, it really knocked me out but I pulled through!! Unfortunately we aren’t going to be able to completely avoid getting ill especially this time of the year, just have to keep up with the paracetamol and natural remedy drinks x

I’m so ill right now Too with cold / flu and it’s completely wiping me, had it 4 or 5 days and still can’t shift it - I’m 4 weeks worried too😢 but I had an awful sickness bug with my 2nd baby at about 36 weeks pregnant and she was totally fine so they’re well protected in there x

Try and drink plenty of water and stay hydrated even if you can't eat.
Also try and keep up with the folic acid and vitamin D.
I had flu at 4 months in my first pregnancy and I'm very susceptible to illness due to a weak immune system and was told to make sure just to stay hydrated.
Also if you're happy to, try and get the flu jab now. Would protect you against anything down the line.

I've had 'plane flu' after getting back from holiday. Started at 4wks and I'm now 6 and a half and still have a cough. I rang the midwife in a panic and she reassured me that baby will be fine, to focus on getting myself healthy again. I however am now fitting the last of it off with a pulled muscle in my ribs and nausea 🙃
Hey mummas! Just wondering, has anyone else here experienced Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy? Im 34 weeks on tuesday and recently been diagnosed with ICP, worried they will want to induce me and the itching from it is unbearable. Would love any advice!

I found out this week that I’m carrying twins, and honestly, I’ve been feeling so many different emotions all at once. Happiness, gratitude, excitement, fear, and anxiety. a little bit of everything. It’s such a beautiful blessing, but also a lot to process as I try to wrap my mind around what to expect.
And now it all makes sense why my pregnancy test showed “pregnant” literally seconds after I peed on it! 😂😭 Like, surprise mama, there are TWO babies in there!

I honestly can’t believe I’m turning 23 tomorrow, last year never would’ve had thought that I was gonna celebrate my birthday 16/17 weeks pregnant (one doctor is telling us that I’m in my 16th week but another one is saying that I’m in my 17th week because of how big our baby is in ultrasound) and I get to celebrate it with my amazing fiancé which I’m so excited for 🫀
