Very normal to have intrusive thoughts. I had them also last week but tried to bat them out of my head. Focus on facts. how many people do you read comments from every single day who have said they’ve had a CS. So many! The theatre team do 4 or 5 every day. It’s just another day for them at work. You’ve had two before so you know that you’ll be so looked after by people who are amazing at their job. And it’s normal to be nervous. Just think, in about 16 hours you’ll have your baby in your arms and you can worry about doing your first postpartum 💩 instead 😅 everything will be okay. Try and do something relaxing tonight it’s taking your mind off it. Have you made a playlist for during the procedure ? X

I felt absolutely same girl… and I’m still here alive and healthy 💃🏼

I was the birthing partner in my sisters C-section and I was stunned by how quick and efficient it was, a room full of people monitoring you and your vitals very closely. And before you’ll know it you’ll hear that little cry ♥️ I still remember the flush of relief on my sisters face. You’re not alone but you are safe

Please don’t feel that way
Everything will go as planned and you will gone out well with your baby and smile…. It’s normal to feel scared but be strong okay everything will work out

Thank you all ladies for your replies 🩷
Hi. I’m 27 weeks 6 days pregnant. I had a 4D scan 2 days ago which would have made me 27 27 weeks 4 days, but the sonographer measured our baby boy to be 26 weeks 5 days with his measurements. She only measured his HC, AC, FL. His heart rate was perfect and she said everything was good. On the report says “no further action required” I’m overthinking it now because he’s measuring 6 days behind. I’ve had around 7 private scans throughout my pregnancy and always measured exactly the same. I also had my bump measured by the midwife 1 week ago at 27cm and was on the grow chart at 90 percentile. Midwife was happy and didn’t need any further scans etc. Baby is moving so much and got a pattern he follows with movements. Is this normal and has this happened to anyone else with the baby measuring a little behind? Just to give me a little reassurance 🙏

My baby is 2 weeks old and I keep seeing Tik toks about people missing the newborn stage. Whereas we keep thinking we can’t wait for her to be a bit older so she’s more interactive and sleeps longer! She’s EBF. Surely not everyone misses the newborn stage!? Or is there something wrong with us!?

Hi all, my consultant is recommending a planned c section. I was wondering for those of you who have had one, how long was it after the baby was born for you have to skin to skin with your baby? Thanks in advance

I am exhausted although i dont think exhausted is even what i feel🤣🫣 my daughter has had a cold since ive not slept for more than 2-3 hours every night in between her needing me as well as my son waking up for feeds. Love my daughter with all my heart but he behaviour very challenging even when poorly🫠 i cant wait until shes better and back in her own bed for the whole night

So the doctor has said that if my baby is still breech as at 32 weeks he is then I will have to have a c section. But they also want me to go for one due to having complications from my first labour. So my question is what do you pack in your bag as I need to start packing it.
