One-on-one dates with kids?
Do you and your spouse/partner do one-on-one dates with your kids? If so, what do you do for the dates, and how do you arrange them/how often do they occur?
I had the thought tonight, since we have 2 currently, that we could each go to a different gas station at the same time for a treat twice a month or something. I feel like it'd be good to have other arrows in our quiver, so-to-speak.

I do, my husband hasn’t in a while since he works a lot but every other month i let them choose a place to go have lunch at and it’s only us. Sometimes i take them out to get something at target or get ice cream, go to a movie. Once in a while i let them choose what they want to do. This summer my son chose the ice cream train and my daughter picked a theme park and dinner. We had passes to the theme park so wasn’t “expensive”.
