So I am now 40 + 4 days pregnant. Trying to be calm and not be bothered by the fact baby has not made an appearance yet. But, I am having a lot of messages from people (of course it’s all coming from love) but it’s really getting to me now. What are people doing when they’re overdue? I don’t want to just “rest” all the time because I get really bored. I don’t want to see people out and about cause they’ll make comments or ask questions.
I am trying to be patient and allowing my baby to stay in there as long as they need to. But can’t help feeling disappointed when I wake up in the morning and have not gone in to labour 😅. What do people doooo??

Welldone for getting this far, I feel like you read out my own feelings, I can really empathise with everything your saying, I feel like I've somewhat been anti social since going over, only respond when you want to, you'll have your up and down days. Keeping busy does help, I've done lots of shopping, walking, things that need sorting in the house, games night with partner, eating out. Ultimately it does feel like a drag I'm 41 plus 2, baby will come when she/he is ready or you can choose to go for induction, which they will start pushing now, whatever you decide is completely your choice, make a plan that works for you. I listen to postive birthing affirmations and meditations on Spotify and YouTube they help prepare, im spending my last few days enjoying the time i have left after being so anxious an trying everything to make baby come. If you want to talk im here, this app really helps xx

I'm 40+3 and had intense pains last night and I'm the night! Giving up on an October baby..Took my daughter swimming and did a few lengths and going to try and do something nice this afternoon! Have an induction booked for 8th November!
I am struggling so much already even to do the smallest of tasks, I really am concerned how I will be by the third trimester 😆
Anyone else feeling the same?

I'm 39 weeks today.
Baby has today tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday morning..... To turn her little self around.
Tuesday is either an induction..... If she flips.... Or a c section sometime in the afternoon.
