What do you do??

Ive got mixed opinions so far, so I’m interested to know what you new mums do or would do.

When fuelling up your car / nipping into Tesco express just for a pint of milk, baby is sleeping in the carseat. Do you leave baby in the car for the literal 2 minutes your gone and just ensure car is locked, or get the whole pram / car seat system out and take baby with you?

If I could see the car the whole time and was gone for no more than a minute or 2 I would absolutely leave them in the car x edit - I wouldn’t go into a shop where I couldn’t see them

Fuelling car I do pay at pump, if I need something from in the shop, I take baby with me.

I try to do pay at pump but if I have to go into the shop then I take them with me - even if that means getting all 3 of them out the car 🫠

I would never risk leaving baby in the car. All it takes is someone to see you as a target and plan to steal the car (of course chances are low but you never know!) and then they’ve taken your car and your baby !

I would NEVER leave the baby alone in the car. Many things can happen and you're fully responsible for your baby, he's completely dependent on you.

How do you handle your baby waking at 5.30, happy and ready to party? 😂

Mine does this occasionally and I feel guilty because I’m too exhausted to get up and engage. Do you start the day or keep things quiet and try to settle them back to sleep?

3.5 year old hair loss? What to do pleaseee

Hello everyone!

My firstborn has always had a slower hair growth but it was slowly getting there and I could do little hairstyles with it which she absolutely loved. But her hair is getting thinner and drier and nothing has changed health or diet wise. This picture is from March 2026 and I’ll post her latest one in the comments.

Do you have any tips? Or is this normal? Is your toddlers hair similar?
My 2nd born is younger by 2 years and she’s got so much more hair and it’s much healthier and longer.

How to tell if a baby is full?

My baby’s not a big feeder. She prefers little and often instead of a big amount every 3-4 hours. Spoken with my health visitor and she says it’s fine. My baby is formula fed so I can see her intake. How do I know when she’s full? She will take 0.5oz then stop sucking but i try get her to have 2oz per feed. Am i overfeeding?

Nappy Recommendations!

Hi,
my little girl is 8 weeks old now and weighing a lovely 12 7oz 🥰

We have tried a variety of nappies since birth including Aldi Sainsbury’s Asda and Pampers.
We normally use Asda in the day and Pampers at night, she’s in size 2 at the moment and has started sleeping for much longer stretches 6+ hours and I’m finding we are having more leaks when this happens.
She sometimes has red marks on her thighs (she has some chunky thighs!) so I did think about sizing up to size 3 in the pampers and going for the baby dry range but I worry these would be too big around her waist!
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations?
