I had a c section 3 weeks ago and I was just wondering how long people wait till having a bath I know it’s recommended 6 weeks but I’m dying for one and just curious when everyone else did?

I had a shallow bath 2 weeks after my c section, I didn’t let it soak but I let the water run over it…it’s now infected and I’m on antibiotics🫠not sure if it’s the baths that did it but that’s my experience x

I had a deep bath two weeks after without realising it wasn't recommended. I only used a little baby bubble bath in it and my scar was healing very well. I did contact triage afterwards as I did get a bit of swelling 2 days afterwards but it went away with some ibuprofen so not sure if it was the bath or not x

Discovered sticky toffee pudding at 33yo!!

Guuuuys!! I tried sticky toffee pudding for the first time a week ago & I've had about 5 supermarket bought pots since!!

Growing up, I wasn't much of a dessert person (I was a starter & mains kinda gal when eating out) but over the last year or so, I've been taking a liking to them & I thought I'd give sticky toffee pudding a try & OMG! Why did no one tell me this was like heaven in your mouth?! 😲 😂

I've tried Tesco & Aldi's brands so far. If you think there's better (if that's even possible lol), please share! 😍🤤🤤

EDIT: the best part? My 3yo hasn't tried it as she thinks it looks yucky so I have it all to myself! 🤣

Mucus plug

How long after losing mucus plug did you go into labour ?
I believe I’m losing mine slowly it was clear he’ll like substance but I’m going to monitor 35+1

Ball hit my stomach (resus neg blood & anti D)

Hi.
I’m on a day out with family and was stood watching my little one play basketball arcade and the ball hit the bar and bounced back hit me straight in the stomach and it did hurt a bit as the balls hard.
I’ve had the anti D injection twice now one routine and the other due to a swing bumped me in the stomach.
Should I be concerned or should I be ok now I’ve had my anti D

In labour

I am currently in labour, been having stronger contractions for 2 hours.. my husband is just downstairs watching TV

I'm so mad! Am I right to be angry or is this normal?

Unexplained bleeding during pregnancy

Has anyone bled through pregnancy, if so how long did it last for? Was it throughout and red or brown? I’ve been bleeding for two weeks, been checked multiple times and no one can tell why. It’s obviously giving me anxiety as it’s fresh blood but everyone is shocked they can’t find a reason with the amount. I’ve been put on Cyclogest incase as my previous pregnancy was preterm so I’m higher risk but I’m only 18 weeks so I’m worried!!!
