I was in my 2nd trimester when we announced. So 13-14 weeks along. I have PCOS so we wanted to make sure we were further along before announcing to everyone. We told my parents and siblings the same day we found out and told my husbands parents and siblings 2 days later.

Avatar

We announced it at 16 weeks. However we did tell our parents at about 12 weeks.. I want to wait even longer for my next one šŸ™„ lol

Avatar

9 weeks. Are you pregnant? I remember seeing you post something about wanting another but not being sure about having one.

Avatar

14 weeks!!

Aside from the hubs and my mom, waited until T2 to announce and not until 20w to share on social media. I honestly missed it (it as in the news, not my little guy) just being "ours" after we told everyone, but we had to at some point.

Avatar

I don’t think I actually announced it, just kind of walked around and when people asked I’d be like ā€œoh yeah.. lol I am pregnantā€ šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Avatar

I told my coworkers when I was 11 weeks. I should’ve done it sooner though because I was suffering from severe morning sickness since week 6. I announced it on social media at 12 weeks.

Avatar

I was 22 weeks when I posted it online, but I slowly told my immediate family within a few weeks of my positive pregnancy test. I was about 4 weeks I believe when I found out?

Avatar

I announced on social media around 22 weeks. My close family and friends knew 8-12 weeks. Found out the sex at 16 weeks 😊

12 weeks!

Well i told my parents the week after i found out which was like 6/7 weeks. Very early but we found out literally before the week we were moving to a new state and wanted to share it face to face with my parents. Social media found out the day of our gender reveal which was 5 months šŸ’™ can’t wait to meet my baby boy šŸ’™

Almost 23 weeks still havent annouced it.

I told friends and family at 13 weeks with an ultrasound and belly pic

Avatar

I pretty much told everyone right after we had our first ultrasound which was like two weeks ago now šŸ˜‚ I couldn’t contain it. We are so excited. I just wanted to share the news. And I know myself well enough that I would want support if something was to happen to the baby.

Avatar

I’m nearly 12 weeks and haven’t told a soul, but probably will some time after my first ultrasound next week. Honestly, I’m pretty scared to tell my family- my mom is quite religious and I feel like the joy of a new life (born to an unmarried couple) will be overshadowed by judgement. I hope I’m wrong!

8/9 weeks

I was showing at 6 weeks so we told our family and I bought a bunch of oversized sweatshirts. šŸ˜‚ We waited until we got viability at 12 weeks but I couldn’t hide the bump any longer. We wanted to wait until 20 weeks though... šŸ¤šŸ˜…

Avatar

I told my sister & best friend immediately upon finding out, then announced it on social media as soon as I got my first ultrasound a week later. I don't think waiting to announce makes much sense. It's such an exciting time & if something were to go wrong it's important to have support.

Avatar

I told a few close people at 5 weeks but told more people at 12 weeks

Avatar

I told my family and bestfriends as soon as I found out. I think I was 5 weeks? I announced it to everyone else when I was 12 weeks!

Avatar

I think I did it a little too early but I would everybody know like after I found out mostly family and I announced it on Facebook

Avatar

Took me a week because I knew my parents would be upset; only because I was 3 credits away from my bachelors. But I gotta my bachelors and had my babies and all is well

Avatar

Well... I told my mom right away. My sister found out early from a txt my son accidentally sent šŸ˜‚ But other than that we were past the ā€œsafeā€ point 5+ months to tell everyone else.

Avatar

I shared the good news
When it happend

Avatar

I told my mom 10 min after I found out

Avatar

I didn't announce that I was pregnant, Just did a birth announcements Ɨ2

Avatar

I was 12 weeks when I started to share the news. Just a bit over when I actually made an overall announcement about my pregnancy.

Avatar

I waited til i was in my second trimester to tell extended family and everyone else

Avatar

I'm 21+3 today and have only told.close friends. Haven't even told family yet. Planned to when I out out the gender, but then my cousin Ashley did her pregnancy post on the day k was going to šŸ˜…

Avatar

I told family at 8 weeks, everyone else at like 14/15 weeks

Avatar

Immediate family basically straight away and everyone else 13 weeks. 😊

Avatar

Parents and siblings were told straight away. If not they would have guessed as we are close family.

Some of the family we are going to tell at Xmas time. I will be 10-11 weeks. Then we are going to tell everyone else after the dating scan which is at 13 weeks.

Avatar

I announced at 13 weeks :)

Avatar

First pregnancy I told my mom at 8 weeks, and told everyone else after 20+ weeks.

Second (current)
I told my family at 10 weeks
And told a select couple co-workers, one at 8 weeks and one after 12 weeks because I kept refusing to lift heavy things and I figured I should at least have a reason why I won’t be lifting heavy things anymore.
I am almost 15 weeks with my second and I haven’t really told anyone else.

Avatar

After 12 weeks in a family group chat. Told immediate family after we found out.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient šŸ˜‚šŸ„²
