I’m a first time mom (soon to be mom) and it gets overwhelming sometimes thinking about the future. Any advice on how not to stress so much?

Try to sleep when baby sleeps, u didn’t because I was focused on getting things done. It’s ok if you can’t get to baby as soon as he/she cries. Listen to your mommy instincts and ignore those who “know “ best for your child but don’t know what they are talking about. Take a bath and relax once if you get help. Be sure to eat.

Surround yourself with a great support system, and know that you are going to make mistakes. I have a two year old and a five month old... Just when I thought I'd it together when my first turned 1 I found out I was pregnant again... Talk about overwhelming...

Always remeber that when your child looks in your eyes they see nothinf but pure and unconditional love. They don't care if you haven't Showered in days... If you look a Mess... You're Mommie and that's all that matters!!! Trust your gut... And remeber you are doing the best you can!!!

1. You will read and get a lot of advice. Just take on board what sounds good to you. Different things work for different families.

2. When your baby is born, you spend time getting to know your baby. Learn their hunger cues, tired cues, etc.

3. Be flexible with literally anything you plan. Your baby will dictate a lot. You might plan to have baby sleep in a bassinet and get a baby that will only sleep if you hold them. (If that happens, research the heck out of safe cosleeping). You might plan to swaddle and your baby is Houdini and gets out of every swaddle.

Do you feel like some people on here try so hard to argue why they are right even when they aren't? See below

I have been following a post on here and others in the past and came to the conclusion that some people on here just try so hard to "prove" they are right. I mean in cases when the other commenter(s) or the person who posted has either credentials, proper information, experience and what not. Sometimes you just want to comment and tell them to just give up already 😅 I swear some of y'all would argue with a surgeon and try to come up with ways he isn't a surgeon

I feel so alone..

I have everything most people don’t have.. a house, amazing kids, a car, food, a dog, a good job.. but I feel so alone. My relationship isn’t great and hasn’t been for a long time.. I’m hurt. I’m isolated. I’m lonely. I internalise everything. I’m not acknowledged. I hardly even exist.. the good things I do get pushed aside & ignored and then I’m treated like I don’t do anything.. I go above and beyond ALL the time.. I’m not even half the woman I really am because I just feel like an unsupported waste of space..

I need help

So I got offered my dream job as a teaching assistant and my partner is refusing to let me get my dbs check done it cost £61.30 if anyone would be so kind to help me out is appreciate it and I’d pay you back double as soon as I got my first pay check I’ll even send evidence that I’ve payed for if and keep you updated on when I’ll pay you back. I’m trying to get out of a toxic and potentially abusive relationship and keep my baby safe

So currently 22 week pregnant me and my partner have sex atleast 3 to 4 times a weeks ' wee have changed up positions make easier with my grown tummy ' so my partner have has been sitting on the edge off the bed while I ride it 😆 it feels really good but my partner is lasting no longer than 5 Minutes so blink and no time its over for me ovbs annoying cause he would normally lasted 15 -20 mins which is good for me if ya onkw what I mean lol but he now wants this position all the time 😑 im wondering why now hes not lasting as long so I said to him last night after wee got done you come really quick I blink and its over so now hes huffing with me and said oh well wee won't do that position again ' anyone any experience off this ' x
