37 weeks and baby could be 8lb already
Midwife felt my tummy and said baby girl is a fair size and could be 8lb 2 already. I’m only 5ft 3 and so much pressure down below as she is fully engaged! My first baby was only 7lb. Apparently they can put on half a pound a week 😱 anyone else been told this and it’s been wrong? Although it’s second time birth it scares me birthing a big baby lol! Especially if I’m late she could weigh a fair bit 🤣

I was told my baby was 7 lb 9 oz at 36 weeks. She was born at 39 weeks and was only 7 lb 12 oz.
My midwife predicted my baby would be around 8lbs 3 at birth. She was born at 39 weeks and weighed 6lbs 12.
