Pregnancy pillows

Are pregnancy pillows really worth it? Im struggling to sleep mainly because of my back and too hot at night with a heat patch/hot water bottle. But dont want to be spending on something that wont benefit. If they are has anyone got any recommendations and what have been the pros and cons for you?

Oh yes! My other half got me one for Christmas, and I kid you not I've never slept better!

For my first pregnancy I knew I needed one because I was sleeping so horribly, I know they can be expensive so I first tried out just a long body pillow from target for $10 and it worked perfect that’s all I needed the rest of my pregnancy

I love mine so much I still sleep with it now and my daughter's 17months. Well unless my partner has stolen it 🙄

I’d agree, I bought one when I started to get lower back pain and now I can’t sleep without it, it actually makes trips around the house with me 😂 I got the bbhugme because I’d seen loads of great reviews. It’s on the more expensive side but I couldn’t put a price on getting some decent sleep haha. Cons - 1) pregnancy pillows in general can take up a lot of the bed 2) because it’s a long pillow when I switch sides I have to move the pillow over. Pros - 1) it has really tiny beads in so you can bend it to any shape 2) it moulds to the shape of you 3) you can use it post pregnancy for nursing.

Yes it’s honestly the holy grail & pretty cheap. Amazon has tons of different shapes! I have the U-shaped one & do not go to bed without it

Yes they are! I loved going to bed knowing I had that pillow. Even more in the end because my hips and back were hurting so bad! I even used mine for a couple months after. It drove my SO crazy since it took up a lot of space but he knew how much I liked it. He said he even noticed that I would sleep better with it because when I didn’t have it, I would toss and turn more.

Yes absolutely loved mine, it helps at night laying on your side to help support your stomach! it’s still on my bed 7 months later 😂

I love mine I had tried a regular body pillow but it didn’t contort to my body where I needed it. My mom got me mine and ever since I’ve slept great. I have fewer nights where I can’t sleep.

My other half got one for me and I'm only 9 weeks! Its the best thing ever. I'm sleeping through the night which I don't normally do anyway, let alone pregnancy!

I have one off of Amazon, was great for first pregnancy and is still as good for my second! I use it on the sofa now though as I sleep better on the sofa than in bed :) my son asp plays in it. I found it really worth it! Full long body one :)

Yep. Didn’t rate mine at first but wouldn’t be without it now. Got the 9foot one from asda online for about £15

Yes! 100% worth it!
My husband got me one for Christmas, at the time I was only about 10 weeks along. But my goodness it has changed my sleeping life. I love it! I can still sleep on my back semi propped up and sleep comfortably on my left side with one side under my back and the other between my legs. My husband hates that I sleep with it every night. He calls it “the big cock block” I call it “big birtha” 😂 he didn’t understand what was so great about it until he took a nap with it one day.

Mine is a life saver! I’ve had it since I found out I was pregnant and I now can’t sleep without it! I got mine from Amazon and it’s not massive, but very flexible and I can mould it into any shape I want.

Soooo worth it

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Hour night wakes and 5am get up

Can anyone shed some light as to why on earth my child doesn’t want to sleep??? My eyeballs are bleeding!!

Never been a good sleeper, but the problems always changing. He’s nearly 9 months old.

Beginning of the month he dropped to 2 naps. We could put him to bed at 7pm and he’d get up for the day at 6am, with multiple wake ups every 2/3 hours.

Now we put him down at 7pm, he can do a good 4/5 hour stretch, but come 1/2am he’s up every hour then getting up for the day at 5am. This then completely messes up the day because I can’t keep him awake long enough to even get to 7pm, let alone later.

He has 2 naps, roughly about 1hr10 each but it changed based on when he wakes and trying to get him to a reasonable bed time.

What could be the reason for this? 6am is fine, but 5am is not 😩😩

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
