Since the first time we have had sex and almost every time I keep getting UTIs from him. He’s a clean person and I am too and I never used to get them this much until we started having sex. What could this be from? He does have a big penis (super huge) and I wonder if I’m getting them from him hitting my bladder during sex and we have sex but I don’t know. Anyone got any ideas on why???

He’s not giving you uti’s, you’re getting uti’s from not peeing immediately after sex. I promise if you start doing this you will not get anymore uti’s

Are you urinating after sex? I’d say it’s best of you do. I always go pee after

Yes pee immediately after and ensue to clean up after sex as well.

I use to get them a lot too. I would lay in bed and want to cuddle, my husband is on the larger side. It's frustrating but you need to pee like immediately after you are finished and drink a nice big glass of water. If you can, drink a glass of water before as well. You need to flush out the bacteria that is being pushed up there during sex.

Could it be friction on your urethra due to his size?
Also your advised to have a wee straight after sex to flush out any bacteria xx

P.s i woke up once with this problem after sex. I drank loads of water, after a few wees it went. Weirdly the more water i drank the less i had that horrible urge to wee!

Yeah ditto to above he can't give you UTIs x

I was suffering a lot from recurring UTIs so I started taking D-mannose supplements daily after sex and they helped a lot! Helped clean out my system after only a few uses (but yes peeing after sex is necessary).

Go for a wee immediately before and immediately after penetrative sex - I know it not ideal but it will make a difference. Good luck!

He might be dirty . Tell him to shower and I’d wonder if he has an std... go get tested girl

It might be what is called ‘honeymoon cystitis’ I got it in both of my long term relationships when we started having sex, when you’ve gone from not having it or not having it a lot to having it frequently, it increases your chances of getting a UTI. As others have said, pee as close to before and after sex as you can, drink plenty of water, take d-mannose if it’s recurring and if it doesn’t go in a few days get antibiotics and abstain from sex for at least a week before you get back to it! Nothing to be concerned about but uncomfortable nonetheless!

I had a ex who had a big penis... and I would get them often especially after he would do it hard and fast sometimes would last 2 week and then go then I would get it again straight after.
Anyway I couldn't take it no more and I broke up with him because nothing I did worked and I also started to feel pressure from him always wanting sex when I didn't want to and he never seemed to consider how it effected me mentally. He would say "after UTI had gone al go slow" ....Time comes to do it and he would start slow then get carried away.
After I broke up with him, i never had one since.
Please let him know how it is effecting you and try doing it slowly if if that helps. Like everyone else *pee after sex.

Unfortunately women don't usually have the luxury of basking in the afterglow of sex. I've known tons of ladies like me who have to go pee within a couple minutes of finishing or we end up with a uti.

Are you using scented soaps to wash yourself? Also you don't ever want to clean inside with soap. Just the outside. You want to pee right after having sex. It helps reduce chances of a UTI. Make sure you're drinking lots of water and try a shot of apple cider vinegar a day. It might be that your UTI isn't going away. I had one that they think might have been antibiotic resistant. I was really scared bc we tried almost ever antibiotic. I did the apple cover vinegar for 2 months and it went away and stayed away finally. A nurse practitioner was the one who told me to do the apple cider vinegar. I actually lost weight too. Make sure it's ACV with the mother. I need to do it again. Just make sure to do it after eating and brush your teeth after.

Are you peeing immediately after sex?

Do you wee after sex ? X

My ex did this.. i made sure he washed his ManPen with soap and thoroughly rinsed everytime before sex.
Its abit of a mood killer but it worked.
Im sensitive & my PH gets disturbed easily so was the only answer

Take a vinegar bath I do this when I start to feel not so fresh or I feel a uti just feel the tub up to the top of your belly button and pour a cap full or two of vinegar and soak in it. I’m telling you it works WONDERS

This is tmi but when I was with my ex I always got yeast infections, quite a bit, after sex. It wasn’t like right after but I would get them often & my gyno said that maybe our chemistry didn’t match.. weird. My new relationship now, fiancé, i never get them anymore! I just never thought that could be a reason for them reoccurring so often...

Pee after sex

Go pee right after!! & extra precautionary, take a shower or dip in the tub with soap

Have you been to the doctor? Sometimes you can actually have a bruised urethra that feels a lot like a UTI.....

Go get checked u could also get a std so just be careful

I actually can’t believe people are suggesting because the OP is suffering from UTI’s she needs to go and get checked for an STD. Jesus Christ ladies 🤦🏻♀️ not every man is riddled with disease

Is it a UTI or STI?

Peeing right after sex every time helps prevent that.

I used to get Utis after being intimate with my now fiancé. I took cranberry supplements and peed right after intercourse. I stopped the cranberry but continue the peeing. I think my body adjusted as well to the consistency of him and haven’t had one with him for like 2 years

Do you pee after sex? My sister gets a uti every time she doesn't pee after sex, regardless of who she slept with. (Not like she's a whore but she has had quite a few relationships)

I pee right after sex and wash off, my ex had a huge penis my boyfriend now hes about average but if you do not go pee right after and wash off that could be causing it and also you two just constantly passing it back and forth...another thing also my ex and I had sex so much that I had so much fluid on my ovaries they about had to take them out which caused me to think I had UTIs also...so you might want to go to the dr

I had the same problem, my gynecologist in Morocco told me that I have to use my intimate gel after every time using the bathroom for pooping, to clean the anus area, that kills the bacteria responsible for UTI.

You should always pee and rinse down there immediately after sex. You could also have an allergy to his sperm, but that wouldn’t necessarily cause a UTI.
