Dr EL (Lisa) Walters (she/her) is originally from South Africa and currently resides with her husband, Dr Anthony Cimmino, in Georgia.

She has two distinct and very rewarding careers as a Professional Specialized Kinesiologist and Creative Director, before embarking on her Medical Career.

She graduated from Trinity School of Medicine (where she met her husband) and plans to specialize as a Pathologist at UH Cleveland.

She has published in multiple journals and enjoys being a research assistant for Dr Wolf at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore.

She has a history of caring for orphans born with AIDS, and volunteering with the Motor Neuron Foundation in South Africa.

She is an active member of the American College of Physicians, as well as the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

In her spare time, Dr EL enjoys traveling, swimming, cooking, painting, reading, and teaching PreMed’s online.
