Would You Ask to Skip a Visit If Your Stepchild Was ill?

I have a four-month-old baby and a nine-year-old stepdaughter who stays with us every Friday to Sunday. She came to us last Friday with a cold, and since then my baby caught it, then me, and now my partner—it’s like a plague in here! My baby is still poorly nearly a week on, and both of us are feeling awful too, but...

Excess gas and not pooping

My baby has trapped wind allll the time and is constantly straining to get it out. We're also currently on day 4 of no poop but even when he does poop, the gas doesn't seem to get any better. The doctors have just said that it's colic and he'll grow out of it. He's mainly bottle fed with expressed milk with a top up...

I'm not sure whats changed now that he's turned 6 weeks, and I do everything I can when I feed him to make sure he's upright and then k...

I always think there is something wrong with my baby

I’m constantly thinking that there is something wrong with my little boy who’s 16months. He’s eating, drinking, plenty of wet and dirty nappies, however if he doesn’t poo for 1 day, I think there’s something wrong. If he’s off his eating for 1 meal, I’m thinking there’s something wrong. If he’s lay differently I thi...

Bath time

My 9 week old likes to have a bath but once we take her out she cries so much and really unsettles herself. Any tips on how to make the post-bath experience better for her and me?! Currently we are doing bottle, wait 30 mins, bath her, change and bed.

Playpen

Has anyone bought a playpen yet? My girl is on the brink of crawling, any day now, and I’ve accepted I’m going to have to surrender my living room to the dreaded playpen. Something not too big… that looks nice?! If even possible 😩 any recommendations?

Bath time

My 17 month old has a bath most night (or every other) he absolutely loves being in the bath but when it comes to rinsing the shampoo off his hair with water he goes absolutely hysterical ☹️ we've tried using a water jug, the shower hose, a child friendly elephant hose but he hates it. ***UPDATE*** I tried the idea of blending all the food with the sauce. I also added mince. I made it with pasta for dinner tonight. He had about 3 picks at the pasta and then left it 😑. Hey, I need some advice please. My 2 year old son keeps struggling and his poos are quite hard. The problem is he won’t…
