Is anyone else confused why there are so many white/cream soft plays popping up everywhere. Visually they are so dull and not stimulating for a child. I would never pay the ridiculous prices they ask (more than normal soft play)

My lg will be 9 months old on 2nd April. We haven’t had a health visitor since she was 2.5 months old and I remember she said the next one would be at 9 months. Has anyone got an appointment booked?I think it might be different in Wales or elsewhere... I’m in the North of England.

When did everyone have this…. My girls 14 months and I’m still waiting she had an appointment tomorrow just been cancelled due to staff illness which can’t be helped but was then told I have to wait for them to get back to work to ring me to arrange a new one? 🙃🙃 I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve found them to be the most useless “service” to exist. Never there when I’ve needed them! I’m glad my girls in nursery so I know they’ve no concerns with her milestones etc!

Is it weird to take a shower with my baby boy? Is it a bad thing? I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately because I can never shower I’m 11 weeks pp and my husband started a new job. He is gone all day to work and I can’t just leave my baby alone so I can shower. I can’t hear the monitor over the running water and even if he is sleeping if I leave the room he wakes up and starts crying and doesn’t stop unless I pick him up and if I put him down again he cries again and I’m against letting my baby just cry it out. So I’ve been neglecting my own self care and hygiene and it’s really taking a toll on my mental health. So I guess what I’m really wondering is it wrong, and is it unsafe?

Anyone had a problem with gagging leading to vomiting? My 14 month old has recently started this with her food, she never used to have this problem at all. She’s suddenly started gagging which leads to full on vomiting now.I will say she’s not BLW, but any advice, normal?
My baby is approaching 6 months and is exclusively breastfed. A midwife warned us to expect that by this point, he would be pooing once a week and would make a big song and dance about it. My baby poos once or twice a day, sometimes three times, without fail. Probably one in three is very vinegary, and they are in general smelly - I can tell he's pooed on smell alone. They are also fairly explosive. He's in a larger size nappy than his weight to try and contain the poo as we have frequent blowouts! He also generally only poos in his car seat unless it's first thing in the morning!Other than pooping, he seems completely healthy. He has maintained appropriate weight gain at his last check (which admittedly was at 3 months), but he's chubby and round. He also has plenty of wet nappies. I'd love to hear from people as to whether this is normal or whether I should be worried that this is an allergy or something!!! How many poos does your EBF baby do a day / week? Please let me know!!!

I’m looking for some advice - My home has a wet room so no bath and my 3 month old is growing out of the bath that we’ve bought it’s just like a little bath we fill up and empty but he’s got quite long legs and he’s reaching the bottom of it and i can’t find no bigger ones. Mama’s with wet rooms what do you do ? I’m struck i can’t put him in shower (obviously) i’ve tried to shower with him but i can’t hold him and do both and dad isn’t always around for bath time because of football etc. so i need something i could do on my own? Thankyou! x
Hi all,My 11 month old has incredibly painful bowel movements, it looks as though her poo is so large (wide) that its agony to get out so she screams. Once the first part is out (usually with some help) the rest comes out fine. The GP has given her laxatives but this has been going on for months and she can't take them everyday so I try to limit them. Anyone else have this? She has CMPA but does have anything with cows milk so it's not that. Thanks x

Not too sure if my baby is struggling with gas or reflux in the night but when hes on his back he is thrashing out, grunting, it sounds like hes about to be sick and is clearly uncomfortable. We’ve tried infacol and I thought it worked with the burping (although it made him a bit more sicky), but when I’ve spoken to an osteopath or GP they gave the impression it didn’t work!!Has anyone tried infacol, gripe water, colief etc and what has worked for you? Thank you!!
