My baby was 7lbs 5oz when he was born. He was on the 25th percentile. My husband is very tall and lanKy. My little one started to drop percentiles around 7-9 weeks. He also developed a milk allergy so he’s on special formula. I thought the milk would help him gain back weight but hes no longer on the 25th and continues to be following a new line of somewhere between 25 to 13. The reason I’m worried is because people keep pointing out he’s really skinny. He’s now 6kg. Yes he may be skinny but he’s 16 weeks and 3-6 sleep suits are too short on him but 3-6 around his waist is too big. I try to offer him milk but he will let me know when he’s not hungry. He drinks 5oz 6 times a day. I feel like the comments are driving me insane and makes me feel like a bad mum. Im a ftm. I find feeding stressful now because if he misses a meal i automatically think hes going to lose weight. Anyone in a similar situation?

Hi just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get water out of the dummy teat? I sterilised in boiling water and when I took them out the teats all have water in them. One is a tommee tippee, another is a mam and another is a Tesco one if that makes any difference. Thanks!
My baby boy is getting only formula since month 2, he was gaining weight really slowly but gaining, 2 weeks ago we went to the pediatrician for his 4 months vaccines and notice he only gained .2 lbs, so basically from may to June he didn't gained any weight, he is 12.5lb now, was 12.3, the pediatrician on April said he was doing fine and could let him sleep 6hrs straight in the night, now they want me to go back and feed him every 3hrs at night and 2 hrs at day but my baby isn't really interested to eat that often, he gets 4oz every feeding, gets around 30-32 oz a day, anyone having the same issue? I feel like a bad mom, I wish I could just give him breast milk, he is an active and happy baby so I don't understand what's wrong.

Good prep machines and sterilisers ?
Those whose babies have already turned one, have you stopped formula altogether or continuing for a bit? My baby turned one at the beginning of the month, but she is showing no signs of wanting to give up her milk. She will cry all day until she gets it, so cutting out the midday bottle isn't great. She has a bottle in the morning after breakfast, then she wants another after lunch and then has a bedtime bottle. I still have a tub of formula to use up, so not looking to stop just yet, and I don't mind continuing onto stage 3 if need be. But just wondering if others are continuing and how did you cut down the feeds? Thanks mumma's!

I have breastfed my baby from the breast exclusively for 8 months. I need to get him onto formula now but he just isn't interested. He likes having water from the bottle but then when I put formula milk in the bottle he just rejects it. Helpppp! Any advice on bottles, tips, milk type, aaaaanything. I just need some help in getting him onto formula.

Due to fly with my 11.5 month old, 4 hour flight. She’s bottle fed with formula. Can anyone suggest some things you think I might of forgot to pack? I’m worried about forgetting something but I feel like I have a list as long as my arm🤣Also how is everyone sterilising bottles abroad? Is it Milton tablets? Never used Milton so worried about the whole new rinsing off thing and stuff? Thank you! X
Hi FTM here, I'm due in August and struggling with deciding on a solution for sterilising. I'm hoping to breastfeed but also want to pump and use bottles so my partner can do some of the feeds but still use my breast milk. There are so many different options out there online, just wondering what people find the bed? A bowl with sterile solution and doing it yourself or a machine? Which at better, steam or UV machines? There are so many brands it's so overwhelming for a first time mum. Thank in advance 😊

My 10 month old is roughly 10kg in weight, has 3 meals alongside 3 bottles of 10oz. What is everyone else’s baby drinking and what is there weight? I’m wondering if I’m over feeding my baby as his milk always seems to come up x

My baby is 4 weeks old, and EBF. I’m keen to introduce a bottle, with expressed milk to give me some freedom/flexibility down the line. For the last 3 days I’ve expressed instead of one feed, and my partner has given this milk in a bottle instead. Minor reluctance, but generally it has gone well and the baby has finished the milk each time. I plan to continue this once/day but not to try to build any kind of stock until at least 8weeks, to protect the balance of my supply. Have any of you done similar before and it has/hasn’t worked? Does anyone have any tips/learnt anything that I should I know?
