I’m looking to switch my baby to formula I’ve been looking at the European brands cause they seem to have less gunk than the US formulas, but I really am scared to use Formuland. I don’t know which one cause I’m needing to switch here soon

My daughters 8 weeks + 4 days and currently using the tommee tippee size 1 teats. However we are finding she’s falling asleep and not finishing her full bottle and thinking it’s due to her not getting enough milk through the size 1 and getting bored so falling asleep. Should we be changing the teat to the size 2? On the website it says size 2 teats should be 3 months old +… however there is also Vari Flow which says the baby then controls the amount they have… has anyone had the same issue or has any advice?

I’ve recently stopped breastfeeding and am now onto formula but my little girl seems to be drinking more than recommended, is this okay? She was a frequent feeder when breastfeeding but never fed for that long and I obviously never knew how much she was drinking. Our formula recommends 4-5 x 180ml bottles a day but my little one is having 7 bottles a day, 5 of them 150ml and then a couple she probably drinks 120ml. Does this sound like a lot?

My LO has taken quite well to food and is having 3 meals a day but I’m concerned with his lack of interest in milk now. He breastfeeds better overnight than during the day. During the day he feeds at roughly 7am, 9am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm and 7pm. I dropped the 9am feed but now he’s refusing the 4.30pm one as well. He takes 1 bottle of formula a day but that even takes him about an hour to get 5oz down. How many feeds is everyone’s 6-8 month old on at present?

Any nurses, drs or pharmacists on here please? Long story short my 4 year old has been prescribed this for tonsillitis but it says to give every 6 hours. Which is only 3 doses throughout the day as he is only awake for 12 hours. Isn’t it normally 4 times a day? I would call 111 but it took me an hour to get through as it’s bank holiday and he only got the prescription earlier today. Thank you in advance

My child was ebf until 7 months, I was gradually weaning as he drank formula fine but he hit 12 months and hates cows milk so he’s bf more again… any tips to get him to have more cow milk - or is it an issue if he skips it? This is manly due to him starting nursery and I would like to wean off over the next few months, even if it’s to 2 feeds a day (currently it’s A LOT)

Hello, how many oz’s of formula is your 10 week old baby drinking in one day?
Does anyone’s baby just not drink milk anymore? We’re having to trial dairy free following doctor’s advice and now my son just won’t drink any milk! He wasn’t drinking loads of cows milk before anyway but now won’t drink any plant-based milk out of a bottle or cup. We put it in his meals and cooking instead, and use calcium fortified yogurts etc and will speak to health visitor, but wondering if anyone else has experienced similar?
