Early pregnancy symptoms

Period pains

Currently 23 weeks pregnant and experiencing period pains very uncomfortable. I have been getting them on and off over the past couple of weeks but these ones seem to be the most uncomfortable so far. Anyone else had the same?

Postpartum symptoms

Cervical stitch

I’ve been told my cervix is measuring short and I need to see the doctor tomorrow to work out next steps. Worst case scenario (for me) is that I’ll need a stitch in my cervix to hold it together. Has anyone else had this and can tell me do they numb the area before doing the stitch? Or is it sore? I had a colposcopy years ago and I’m still traumatised by the pain of getting that anaesthetic, and more recently (when going through IVF and before I got pregnant) a doctor tried to pull off a cervical polyp without giving me an anaesthetic and the pain was unbearable 😅 so I have the total fear just now and getting myself a bit worked up

Maternity clothes

Maternity jeans

Hi all, I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant with my second. I bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans last time which I've got out of storage but just aren't particularly comfortable. I feel like all I've been doing is scouring the internet to find new ones and am not having ANY luck. Any recommendations would be so welcomed please!!

Loud heartbeat, is it normal?

For about 6 weeks I keep having times where I hear my heartbeat really loud in my ear. It lasts for about 10mins maybe 3/4 times a day, and I can’t seem to work out a trigger. I used to feel like fainting but now it’s just the loud heartbeat

It happens stood up, sat down, lying down and there seems to be no pattern to it. Should I be worried? I’m 22 weeks now
