This is a warm, welcoming space for moms in every season - working moms, stay-at-home moms, new moms, seasoned moms. Here, we share positive parenting ideas, simple recipes for our littles, encouragement for marriage and motherhood, and real conversations about balancing it all.

Motherhood
Turns out I had a gallbladder attack not mommy shoulder. I just had surgery today to remove my gallbladder and have to have another procedure tomorrow to remove at least one gallstone from my bileduct. So that's been fun.... And I'm 11 weeks postpartum and having to have my mom and dad take my baby while my husband stays with me in the hospital, feeling all the mom guilt for that right now.

Early pregnancy symptoms
Does anyone have what's known as Mommy shoulder? "Mom shoulder" is a common repetitive strain injury causing pain, stiffness, and inflammation in the shoulders, neck, and upper back due to lifting, carrying children, and nursing. Symptoms often include rounded shoulders, tight traps, and radiating pain. Relief involves strengthening the back, stretching, proper posture, and using carriers.
I feel like I might have it but am wanting to know what others have experienced and how they dealt with it. I've been in a lot of pain for 3 days now, went to the ER and wasn't given any answers, still hasn't gone away but it has lessened. It's affecting me being able to take care of my daughter 😞

Mumma’s with little to no support how are we getting through the days?
My only escape is work and I’m lucky to even get there when I’m able to get someone to watch the kids I feel like it’s getting harder and harder every day I’m constantly just counting the hours to bed time or the days until I get to go to work!
I moved interstate with my 2 kids and FIFO husband who works 4 weeks on 2 weeks off in hopes to have more family support with his side but it hasn’t really worked out that way, everyone is busy and burnt out themselves but they also all have each other to lean on, I spend pretty much all my days with 2 kids a 4yr old and a 1yr old, I have severe PPD and anxiety so getting out even to the supermarket is such an effort for me I don’t know what more I can do anymore I feel stuck
I’ve got no family of my own up here, and no friends outside of his family
