Feeling like the house is split

I have been in my SD life for almost 10 years( she is currently 15). She is with us between 3-5 days a week. Days we have her i feel like I'm a single mom with my other kids. He spends money on her like its nothing and takes her to do all the things and our kids get w.e is left. He tells me he will buy w.e they need but he told me not to get expensive soccer cleats for my son since his feet are still growing then turns around and buys a very expensive pair of my SD even though her old ones are only a year old. Idk how to approach the situation.

Anyone else avoid sending pictures of their kids to their SK?

It’s definitely the petty in me, but anytime my SD asked me to send her photos of my son, her brother, I wait until she’s in our home to send them so that she’s not sitting with her BM (Bio Mom) as she receives them. Most of the time I don’t like sending them to her at all

For context, I’ve went way above and beyond for BM over the span of many years including allowing her to live with us for six months when she got diagnosed with cancer. She continued to talk shit about me and poorly about me to people we both knew and SD, showing up to my house unannounced when my husband was at home, shit talking me to my husband, and so much more. where about about a year and a half ago I set a hard boundary where we do not communicate Unless she speaks to me when we see each other in person. She has never held nor seen my son in person longer than five minutes, except for one holiday (He is 6 months). But BM loves to tell other people about my son as if she has a relationship with him or me. Can anyone else relate?

Rant

Yes I choose to be a bonus mom at 18 but I’m tired of when I say stuff like “you chose this” and “your not his real mom” he calls me mom I take him to the doctors I take him to daycare I come to every party I buy stuff for him to party with his friends at daycare I take him to the zoo I read him to sleep I get him ready for bed I took him the hospital when he was crying in pain and when he couldn’t breathe do to have strep and rsv last month and I do the same thing over and over I am there everyday when he wakes up I choose over and over to love him everyday like he is my blood I feed him and love him more than his bio mom has done for a while I’m the mom who shows up

Pregnant as a stepmum

My SS is 4 yo, he has been in my life since he was 1, we have a great relationship. He's very excited about having a baby brother and rubs my tummy and asks how the baby is. All lush! My partners parents were over a few days ago and I showed his mum my recent scan pics, my SS went to look at them too and she said that's your half brother... I felt this was really unnecessary to say amd it hurt me alot, it's like she is separating me and the baby from the family. I said if we are going to be pedantic about half DNA then that makes her half a grandmother as her only connection is through you much like SS... I appreciate he is a half brother, my brother is my half brother, he has two sets of kids with different mums who are half siblings, its known but it in now way changes anything, my brother is my brother, my niece and nephew see their little two brothers as their brothers. It's just been bugging me why she felt the need to say "half" brother to confuse the poor kid 😕
