Breastfeeding (first two weeks)

Who finds this challenging?? The cluster / comfort feedings are insane. I find myself feeding for 3 hours straight because my bub just won’t settle until he’s milk drunk. I feel like giving up but everyone says it’s easier after week 4 when your supply has been established.

Would love to hear more about your early bf journey.

Fussy & fidgety

This is 3rd time around BF, so maybe I just forgot these times happen but man is it trying. ..

My baby is 3 months old and everything has been going so good. But lately it's like he just isn't settled by feeding. Only here and there. Otherwise he doesn't lay still, sucks , let's go cries, sucks more. My boobs are squirting and dripping. Hr curls like a backwards shrimp at times i swear lol I just feel at a loss of what to do.

My only thoughts are 1) overstimulated from my crazy toddlers being all over us 9/10 times while trying to feed or

  1. because he's been getting a bottle more frequently then previously (since people have been watching him) ..

SOS- engorged

I had my son on Tuesday and my milk came in yesterday. He latches well, has been cluster feeding and nursing lots. But I am horribly engorged and cannot find any relief- I don’t want to pump and cause an increase in supply just do a few minutes here and there to relieve some. Have tried hot compresses cold compresses head expression nothing seems to be helping. I have an appointment with a lactation consultant Monday morning but I’m struggling right now and don’t know what to do for relief!

First period

Hi My LO is 6 months and I have been exclusively breastfeeding. I have started my first period since birth. Just wondering what that means? Or what it has looked like for you?
