Breastfeeding

How did you make your bb accept a bottle of breast milk?

My baby is 5 months old and I tried many attempts to pump and give him a bottle of breast milk with no success. He cries, struggles, pushes with hands and kicks. Is there a trick with the bottle/baby position that I'm missing?

I'm nursing 10 times a day, now with sleep regression is 4 times a night on average. I'm reaching my limits physically and mentally.

So I’m 18mpp I nurse my girl about 3-5 time a day. I pump once at work I only get 1-1.5oz. I can’t seem to get any more. Any suggestions? I would like to get closer to 2oz.

Breastfeeding

When is the “right time” to wean off our baby?

I’ve been ebf my baby for almost 6 months now and I’m sad thinking about having to stop eventually. Does anyone else relate? Also when should we stop?

I wonder if all exclusive breastfeeding mamas pump? How often? what for? I only pump when I have a little pain to prevent clogged milk ducts, what about you?

Baby sleep

EBF 5 month feeding/ sleeping challenges

Is anyone exclusively bf and have a fussy baby at the breast?

My baby is 5 months and is fussy at the breast. One is fast flow and the other one not fast enough so feeds can be stop and start every few mins, switching breasts but I’m also finding that she’s sometimes uncomfortable (might be cos she’s getting bigger and the pillow smaller) or distracted so feeding can take longer or I have to keep trying every so often.

This is so tiring and she gets agitated obviously because she wants to eat and nap. Because of the feeding challenges that im having, I feel anxious to feed her in public and because she won’t take a bottle or dummy, car journeys can be a nightmare.

-Baby will also only nap on the boob- contact napping

-Doesn’t want to sleep in her crib and wakes up every time I put them down so I end up co sleeping every night.

I guess I have a some questions and need suggestions/help.

1-How are you feeding your babies? On a pillow, just holding them in your arms. Are they upright or laying horizontally?

2-How do you get your babies down to sleep? (Mine is such a light sleeper)

3-How long are you going to bf your baby? Will you move to a sippy cup?

4-How do you feed in public/ public transport?

5-How do you pacify your baby in the car wo a bottle or dummy?

Anyone struggling or have a solution for the above?
