Low Papp-A

I am currenlty 35 weeks, I have not taken any aspirin for low papp a due to allergy to aspirin so I am just having more monitoring/scans. When I had my 32 week scan and followup midwife appt I was told the baby is 19th percentile. Apparently normal is from 10th-90th so they said nothing to worry about. They then said when I do my 36 week scan that if the size drops down from the chart that they will consider if they need to induce me!

Has anyone been through simillar and can give advice or share their experience?

I have had my results a few days ago and I have low Papp a 0.7 , is this okay or not? Because nobody has been in contact with me to say otherwise

Hi everyone, I had my blood test after the NHS 12 week scan on Monday, and just had a call from the screening midwife to say the blood test results show a 1/91 chance of baby having Down syndrome which is considered high.

I also have low PAPP-A (0.24 MoM) which I understand may be the main cause for the higher Down’s syndrome result.

I had the NIPT today so now a weeks waiting game.

Can anyone please share their experiences with a similar result?

If I was to be pregnant with my second baby How likely is it for me to have low papp a again?

I’m currently 30+1 weeks pregnant I had my last scan at 20 weeks on October 21st my next scan is 13 January and I’ll be 32 weeks. Is it normal to go that long without a scan for low papp a?
