Common illness

Want to share a win

My 3 y.o. threw up twice today because of an ear infection. I can feel my anxiety lurking but overall I've been dealing really well with it. Especially considering I'm home alone with her today. I'm just very proud of myself today and figured this group would understand!

Emetophobia

My sister has just found out she’s pregnant which is the best news ever but she suffers strongly with Emetophobia, she’s has panic attacks most nights and is stuck in a cycle, I was hoping to find her some advice from anyone who might have suffered the same? I’m desperate to help and I don’t know how to make this easier for her! She’s going to be the best mummy and I don’t want the pregnancy to cause her so much anxiety

Postpartum symptoms

Gallbladder surgery.

Might be a long shot but I’ve been referred to have my gallbladder out due to gallstones. As someone with emetophobia all I can think about is being s^ck after surgery. If anyone’s had this surgery please let me know how you felt after coming around in recovery. Thank you.

Morning sickness

Morning sickness

I am 10 weeks pregnant & I have the worst phobia of throwing up. I am so scared to throw up and I’m scared to be around anyone who is sick!!! You guys obviously know the feeling otherwise you wouldn’t be in this group. Well. My morning sickness has been pretty bad (nausea not vomiting) but tonight I just cannot shake this feeling that I am going to throw up 😭 I really don’t feel good & I don’t know what to do 😭
